I just used scorched earth turn 1 then the rest the same. 3rd pet not needed

Simpler strategy with the same pets is to use Cataclysm -> Scorched Earth -> Explode on corrupted blood, then Forboding curse -> Scorched Earth shouid leave arcantus dead or nearly so. I didn't even need the third pet.

This also works quite well, just small amount of RNG with Cataclysm being a 50% chance but not difficult to start over
