didn't work for me at all. the switches didn't function this way. i assume it's breed dependent and i really wish you guys would start specifying this. seems to be true of many of the argus fights. strats are totally dependent on what breed of pets you are using.

I was scratching my head I realized turn 4 was "Pass - switch to cub" instead of actively switching. whoops.

As for breeds, this one requires the Minfernal to be anything OTHER than H/H as Minfernal's health needs to be lower than Cub's 1075 after that ~513hp first hit. (but then if you had a H/H Minfernal to begin with, perhaps it's better to go double infernals...?)

the problem here is, as with Darkness, hit chance is set to 90 % - I had it a few times that curse of doom did not hit and pounce before missed twice...

Not sure if this still works post pre-patch or if i was just unlucky, I was 10 hp on snozz short of a win first try, tried again and 7 HP short of killing snozz. Couldnt then out damage the heal either time :(

I have both infernals in HH breed and still didn't quite do enough damage.

Edit - tried a third time and still a few HP short from the original strat, but managed to add a rip and 2 pounce and kill it before my cub got killed. (edited)

swapped the Rake in the middle (turn 4) for a Pounce instead, I had a P/S netherspace, an SS sapphire cub, and a HP Minfernal, was consistently off my 90 or so, worked first try after the switch

for me that I didn't have the HH breeds for [Netherspace Abyssal] and [Minfernal], I used the one with most life at the begginning and the one with most powerful attack as 3rd pet, and with a single crit from any hit, Snozz fells

Finally got this annoying battle to work. Tested it 5 times. Won twice.

Jade owl (1465 health) Rush, Trash
Netherspace Abyssal (1725 health) Immolate, meteor, explode
Sancum cub (1400) Leap, pounce, black claw

Abyssal - Immolate, meteor, explode, bring in cub
Cub - Leap, black claw - owl forced in
Owl - Rush, Thrash (should hit about 3 times) will die

Sanctum Cub (2,2,2) - i used b/b (1481 hp). the lowest hp breed might have lower chances.

1. Mini Mindslayer > pass.
2. Viscidus Globule is forced in - swap manually to Mini Mindslayer.
3. Mini Mindslayer > Eyeblast > Life Exchange (the amount of hits you get doesnt matter).
4. Viscidus Globule is forced in > Acid Touch > Creeping Ooze > Poison Spit.
5. Sanctum Cub is forced in > Black Claw > Leap > Rend.
* unless your Cub got critted or tripled twice - the boss should be dead.

Worked exactly as posted!

One note, if you have the P/H breed Sanctum Cub, make sure you have pets 2 & 3 slotted in this order. The P/H cub has the same HP as the Glob, and Void Gate defaults to the next pet in sequence if there is no 'highest health' pet to switch to. If you have their locations switched around the cub will be swapped to instead of the glob each time and the strat won't work.

I vote for this strategy as well. I used a SS breed on Sanctum Cub and it worked. The single RNG is the turn before Leap. If Snozz makes a triple attack on cat then it is a lost battle with SS breed.

This worked but I needed netherspace abysmal in place of minfernal My minfernal was not PB the Netherspance Aby had enough health to make explosion bigger. I still lost 3 times from crits, but I could tell its should work.

My Voidcaller was B/B, but this strat can still work :

Oozeling first spot - take one hit - forfeit
restart fight - take one hit - forfeit

Now put minfernal on the first spot and restart. your oozeling has less HP then Voidcaller but more of the minfernal and you can follow the exact same strat.

Agree with Velnia, the strat as written kept failing but when I switched to Immolate on the Netherspace Abyssal and Prowl (before being rotated out, which seemed weird but worked) not problems at all.

This first strategy does not work at all unfortunately. Change turn 4 to Pounce and as long as RNG doesn't get in your way, it works far better.

Yes, subbing Pounce in for Rake is the right move here. The main strat should be updated to this. Good call. This also allows you to use this strat with a Minfernal of a different breed (I only have P/B and this worked for me).

Does work, but should be mentioned that it might require some crit RNG on Snooze's Flank ability on the Netherspace Abyssal on turn 5. My Netherspace Abyssal was P/S and if Snooze managed to crit on a single hit of Flank on turn 5, my Netherspace Abyssal would die before casting Explode.

yes Minfernal is a wild pet but it is extremely hard to find... been looking for one for months ... eventually i will find that little bugger ... but in the mean time... i will wait patiently for someone else to come up with another strat or.... will try to find another pet that will work, but not going to complain because i am thankful this site exists

Yes. It's week #1 of Mac'Aree being up. Some of these fights are very tough! If you don't have enough rare/hard-to-find pets, you might not quite be up to the area's level. Don't be angry at the messenger.

Fortunately it's a battle pet though, so it's account-wide, so you can just make a trial character on the lowest pop server (currently Tol Barad per realmpop.com) and park it in the area to speed things up a lot.

Didn't have H/H breeds so here's what worked for me; it took a lot of tinkering and one of the keys is that the Voidcaller has more health than the Oozeling.
Trunks (2, 1, 1); Jade Oozeling (P/P, 1, 1, 2); Lesser Voidcaller (B/B, 2, 1, 1)
1: Pass and he swaps in Void
2-4: Curse of Doom-->Siphon Life-->Pass (swaps in Oozeling)
5-7: Acidic Goo-->Corrosion-->Pass (swaps in Trunks)
8: Headbutt

This was almost working for me, but the Headbutt at the end was leaving Snozz with ~80hp left. Instead I used Moonfire and When Elekks Fly - had to do it twice because of the 50% hit rate on that last one.

Nice alternative that finally worked for me. I too had to employ the Moonfire+When Elekks Fly combo since even power crits on Headbutt only brought Snozz down to 13hp. Took several tries given the 50% hit rate but a useful consideration if the Headbutt strategy isn't working for you.

Managed it with non-H/H breed pets using a modified version of this strat.

I had a P/S Netherspace Abbysal, a P/P Minfernal, and a S/S Sapphire Cub.

Started with my Netherspace Abyssal, then used Extra Plating on the Minfernal. Crush, pass, should be swapped to the sapphire cub. Prowl, Pounce, Rake. Then Explode on whichever abyssal you get swapped to, then Explode on the second one. Sapphire Cub managed to finish up with a Pounce afterwards.

I tried using Sanctum Cub instead since they're similar, and for whatever reason, the strat doesn't work at all. Like, not even close. I looked up the stats for Sapphire Cub, he's faster with less health than Sanctum Cub....i wouldn't have thought it would matter that much since the extra health should have helped the Sanctum and he has Leap+Black Claw+Pounce...but he just gets wrecked.

There's not really a reason to use Rake as far as I can tell. Your Sapphire Cub won't die during the one round it takes 50% less damage anyway, and Pounce is 100+ more damage. Use Pounce both times.

Trunks (Smash / Etheral / Headbut) + Jade Owl (Trash / Adren Rush / X) + Sanctum Cub (pounce / leap / black claw) easy kill if you have trunks.
Start with trunks, use etheral on first round, then smash + headbut, cub is swapped, use pounce rush black claw, jade owl is swapped, use rush then if you are lucky with 2x 3hits trash or you had some crits earlier from any of your pets, he is dead.

There's no need to Rake on the fourth turn with the cub, you should only ever get hit once by Void Gate with it. Use Pounce both times it's in and you should not be prone to relying on RNG from Crush getting higher end hits.

I did this with Brightpaw, Jade Oozling, and H/H Netherspace Abyssal.

Wait until the boss heals with Buried Treasure, then Explode > Acidic Goo > Arcane Dash > Bite. It should be dead unless it gets some lucky crits on you.

Mein Netherraumabyssal hatte kein H/H breed und statt Krallenhieb in Runde 4 würd ich Anspringen benutzen und hoffen, dass man bei der Anzahl seiner Angriffe glück hat!

Danke für den Tipp. Der Kampf ging zwar über Runde 6 hinaus, aber schlussendlich war das die entscheidende Änderung.

Абиссала можно заменить на Нефритовую сову.
Сетап будет такие:
1 Нефритовую сову 2/1/1
2 Сапфировый тигренок 2/1/2
3 Минфернал 1/2/2

Тактика:
1 раунд Пропустите ход - Минфернал вступает в бой.
2 раунд Сокрушение
3 раунд Взрыв
Выберите своего питомца Сапфировый тигренок
4 раунд Глубокая рана - Нефритовая сова вступает в бой
5 раунд Выброс адреналина
6 раунд Взбучка
7 раунд Взбучка - Нефритовая умирает
Сапфировый тигренок вступает в бой
8 Раунд Глубокая рана
9 Раунд Наскок
10 Раунд Наскок

P.S. Чтобы тактика сработала со 100% вероятностью, Взбучка у Нефритовой совы должна оба раза ударить 3 раза.
