I had trouble with the Micro Defender dying too soon, or rather left Ash with too much health, so I replaced Batter with Metal Fist x 2, and Ion Cannon in round 4 (Failsafe round). Micro Defender dies, bring in Tinytron and follow the strat. Tinytron's Fire Shield killed Ash.

(my reason for this was not having a 25 Fluxfire Feline to kill off Ash efficiently. This way I could use any mech with Bite as third pet; Anodized Robo Cub killed Swarm with 4 x Bite).

While making this strategy I originally delayed Reflective Shield until Turn 2 and used Ion Cannon when your Micro Defender triggered its mechanical racial. This cleanly killed Ash as a 1 for 1 trade of pets, but if you got unlucky and Immolate dealt a critical blow on the turn you triggered your racial, you'd die before using Ion Cannon and also miss out on one round of reflecting 372 damage back to Ash.

This left far too much health left on Ash, so rather than force a restart incase of crits, I changed the opening to be slightly less efficient but much safer. It does require a P/S Fluxfire Feline in order to guarantee you still kill Ash with 1 Pounce with no crits and a 2-hit Batter. You can use an S/S Fluxfire Feline, but you will be vulnerable if Ash kills your Micro Defender one turn early.
