I don't think the 3rd pet can solo his 3rd leftovers in a straight fight so the third Leftovers needs some damage on him. I think it's still possible to win if Kid tanks the explode, but just try to avoid. Sometimes it's hard to predict the exact turn of explode but generally you want to wait until he is noticeably below 50%. If Leftovers #2 HP bar looks close to 50% just risk tanking the explode and hoof again. Obviously if they crit you every hit it may not work, but even slightly bad RNG works. I swapped the pet order and won much easier after several failed with this order. Start with Iron starlette, then Lil Bling and finally Benax. But use Benax's bubble to buy you time.

Agreed, this is the way to go when using these companions. Iron Starlette first is not a 100% win but the win chance is definitely higher. I ran the fight with Starlette first and won 4 out of five fights. Bling first resulted in winning 2 out of 5 fights.

^^ Ditto this. I failed about 7x in a row using the top strat (direhorn, starlette, benax -- it's so RNG it's not even funny) then another 3x using Bling/Starlette. Swapped, squeeked out the win. For the record, this guy really sucks.

If youre struggling, pick yourself up an S/S Chitterspine in Nazjatar and use it as at the start of this strat: https://www.wow-petguide.com/Strategy/9493/Extra_Pieces

It takes out the first pet and a good chunk of the second.

Then you can clean up however you like.

P.S. Yeah I tried it just now with Chitterspine, Bling, and Benax and logged it and it worked ok.

When you're having a problem with a strat - don't have the right breed, or don't have one of the pets - look at other strats for the battle and see whether you can create a Frankenstrat, using ideas from both! :) (edited)

The strategy works with some good luck and no critical damage intakes. If you take just one critical hit then you might as well instantly reset the encounter.

Always works for me when using the script the user "Hackelf" shared in the comments below, almost always on the first try(only once i've had to heal up and restart). So still a useful team for someone who doesn't any of the 4.5+ star teams yet.

This strategy is not well thought through and heavily dependant on crits... Either you die in the same round as your opponent or you're lucky and he dies a round earlier. (edited)

This is the most important part of the fight and why I don't think breed is super important. I don't think the 3rd pet can solo his 3rd leftovers in a straight fight so the third Leftovers needs some damage on him. I think it's still possible to win if Kid tanks the explode, but just try to avoid. Sometimes it's hard to predict the exact turn of explode but generally you want to wait until he is noticeably below 50%. If Leftovers #2 HP bar looks close to 50% just risk tanking the explode and hoof again. Obviously if they crit you every hit it may not work, but even slightly bad RNG works.
