Stormborne Whelpling (1,2,2) worked on the second try in place of the thunderscale whelping. On the attempt that worked, I think I did Call Lightning, Arcane Storm, and then maybe one Tail Sweep before the whelpling died. This meant Arcane Storm was already up when the Nexus Whelpling came in, so I just did one Mana Surge with that one and then the fight was over.

Failed a few times with the Stormborne Whelpling 1,1,,2 switch in slot #2, due to Chrominius simply not lasting long enough, so I also switched in Wild Golden Hatchling 1,1,2 in slot #1. I see there is another strat here that is similar, but here is my script for this.

Yeah, both of the Ardenweald trainers are very RNG heavy, so most family exorcist strats won't be perfect all the time. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Worked on my 6th attempt, which was the only attempt where Chrominius didn't die to Runehoof while recharging (got 1 bite in). Runehoof did interrupt call lightning with the stun but I continued and got lucky as the second call lightning and 1 zap crit to finish it off. Continued as normal and won. If you're going to take the time to play RNG strats through, I recommend not restarting and just seeing if you get lucky, since you're going to be here for a while anyway.

Worked first try. The call lightning was interrupted and I decided to play it out just to see, hit call lightning again and kept following strat and it worked perfect.

I did one similar to this but used Wild Golden Hatchling P/S with 2,1,2, after Chrominius died, I used call lightning, then lift off, then tail sweep and Runehoof died, then continued strat with Nexus Whelpling. Hope that helps anyone that may not have Thunderscale Whelp.

Worked on third try. Crazy range here. First try close, but lost. Second Try, not even close. Third try win and Nex. Whelp. had plenty (over half) health left. But, it worked. Some of these are SL masters are very hard for certain families, and sometimes strats like this, that give us a chance are what most of us need. Thank you

On 5th try now and cant seem to get it. using HH, HS, and PP from left to right in the guide.

Things that are consistent to lead up to the fail, Chrominius dies to Runehoof without getting a bite off.
Thunderscale Whelpling dies to Runehoof while Runehoof consistently has 523 HP.
Nexus Whelp isnt able to do 523 HP plus a full health of 3rd enemy.

Sadly there's no way around the RNG of the fight for this strat, and the crits do add up. One or two, you might survive. More will be difficult. :(

Did the enemies crit when attacking your pets a lot? That could do it too, especially if it kills one of your pets a turn early. Unfortunately that can happen with any strategy. If you can tell me where exactly it failed, I can try to adjust the strat a bit.

Yup, this fight is RNG heavy any way you slice it, and those interrupts are brutal. But, if he just interrupts one Zap, you can usually carry on and win. If he interrupts Call Lightning or more than one Zap, it's probably a loss.
