The only spider that was S/S I had was a Felspider, which worked fine using Poison Fang in place of Poison Spit. Everything else was the same.

I used Jungle Grub (2,2,2) as a substitute for Thornclaw... I might have been lucky, but Jinx died after 5th turn (turn 2: consume; turn 3: sticky goo; turn 4+5 burrow)
