Any Level 25+ Aquatic

The third pet can be pretty much anything. Something with aquatic damage is good because of the 25% damage buff from Acid Rain.

TL:DR of Clone Dance: throw down a Cyclone and then buff it with stuff like Rain Dance.

Breed
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
This strategy has been built to be as fast as possible.
The strategy takes a while. Sit back, get yourself a warm drink and relax the scenery.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
The strategy offers a TD script that can be used with the TD Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.

The primary goal here is to set up the Cyclone. After that you can either use Ghostly Bite or directly swap to the Jademist Dancer.

I wouldn't recommend keeping it in the fight beyond those two rounds, because you may lose buff time on the Cyclone with your JMD. Also swapping out too late could prevent getting a 2nd Cyclone out.

The JMD synergizes very well with Cyclone. So do its own moves with themselves. Rain Dance should be used when there are at least two round of Cyclone remaining (core idea of the strategy).

#3
This time I decided not to suggest a specific pet for the 3rd slot. As with most Clone Dance teams the 3rd pet doesn't play a role in the strategy and is just there to clear what is left of the enemy team. Try to find one that fits you the most.

Hey guys, great website, thanks a lot for all the work you do. I've got a question about CloneDance teams in particular if you don't mind: How do you choose which pet to use as your clone setter? By power, to have Cyclone, your main source of dps, do as much damage as possible? By survivability (e.g. Blighthawk for UD racial), so it can set Clone as often as possible throughout a match? By type synergy with your Rain Dance pet (should be a Jademist Dancer in 99,9% of all cases if I understood it right :P )? Or am I missing something completely?

Thanks in advance!

sorry for the late response...

so you pretty much almost summed it up. there are multiple reasons to pick one cyclone pet over another and often times it comes down to personal preference. in most cases the cyclone pet either is great as an opener pet (fast with some sort CC e.g. shore butterfly) or it can deal a lot of damage in a relatively short time (primarily also in form of cleave e.g. voidglower).
it also is important that the cyclone pet works well in combination with the buff pet since this isn't always the case
