I finally got my Ratstallion today, so nothing was going to get under my skin, not even this RNG-fest, even after doing the first strat unsuccessfully five times and this this second strat four times before finally succeeding.

Works in Shadowlands prepatch took two trieds. IMPORTANT. make sure to pass when Conviction has a slither of health as he casts rebirth. IF you kill him he will rebirth with full health. Do this and the fight is winnable.

ALSO heal crab and shell Shield too or you die. (editado)

Script that does Healing Rain when he's about to cast Dark Rebirth and passes when Dark Rebirth is up (not sure the exact hp he does it but 292 was the highest he's done it for me). Also Whirlpools on #3 if crab survives (which isn't rare for H/H).

Defeated with the suggested pets in strat. I used Eternal Strider P/S (1, 2, 2) , Emperor Crab H/H (1, 2, 1), and Benax H/P (1, 1, 1). I used the script posted by Bleh and it worked like a charm!

The Emperor Crab wasn't working for me, so I switched it out with an Inland Croaker. Ice Tomb, Call Blizzard and Lance until Conviction is stunned and switched, then Lance until dead and switch to the Mud Jumper.

I don't understand using the crab. I used Gahz'rooki with Bite and Geyser. The Geyser stopped the Rebirth. It was a quick fight.

I take that back; Geyser's stun caused Conviction to switch out. He was then easy to finish off with Mud Jumper.

As long as Dark Rebirth is not on cool down, make sure your next snap won't kill Conviction. Because otherwise "snap untill Conviction is dead" becomes "snap untill Conviction comes back with full live and your crab died not making a difference". With an add-on as PetTracker you can see the cooldown on your enemy pet.

I could only get this to work using alternatives. Kept the P/S Eternal Strider since it's marked as necessary, but I changed to a B/B Strand Crab and H/P Benax.

I used Emerald Turtle instead of a Strider, did only Shell Shield / Emerald Bite on Beauty, got lucky with crits. Emperor Crab, heal when possible, kills last two pets with under 20hp left didn't need to use Mud Jumper but can see him coming in for a few turns if needed

when crab dies, crawdad keeps wish on CD, otherwise snap
when crawdad dies, penguin used slippery ice & icelance.

I personally did not need the Tundra Penguin, so i guess a decent water pet can help to secure the victory. I might've gotten lucky tho.

I switched out my Eternal Strider for my Mirror Strider, worked since it had the correct stats needed.
Also, tossed in a heal with the Emperor Crab during Conviction, and almost managed to get it down without needing the Mud Jumper, who survived Dignity with only 1hp left.

Defeated him using: Dancing Water Skimmer S/B (122) Emperor Crab H/H (122) Mud Jumper H/B (111). Used the strategy above but Chose to pass with my Crab on the round where Conviction used Dark Rebirth and finished the battle with my Mud Jumper sitting on 1330 HP

Emperor crab Vs Convition, Convitcion always had priority thus getting 2 turns use out of Dark Rebirth, thus: Snap.. until turn before he dies... heal... whirlpool... snap.

Yes! That worked like a charm. I don't know why I didn't read Rathor's post earlier. It would have saved me a lot of heartache and dead critters. Finally, finally, I have Aulier's Aquatics checked off on my FF chart. Thanks to everyone, and especially to Rathor.

As a note to the Xu-Fu team, it might be worth incorporating this small change in the official strategy.

Couldn't get this one to work either. As others have stated, Strider died half way through the first opponent with Emperor following shortly thereafter. I didn't even try the Jumper since he was at 50% hp by the time he came in with the first enemy pet still at 50% or so health. It's frustrating because I have all the needed pets (used a rare stone & a couple of leveling ones to get my P/S Strider up to snuff), but still can't get even close. Well, we only have to have twelve tamers in each category, so this will probably be one of my misses in the Aquatic column. As always, my thanks go out to everyone for the tips and hints. Not your fault if they don't work for me. :)

This worked great for me when I passed on the round that Conviction has Dark Rebirth up. Tried a few times without that pass and it failed badly every time. P/S Strider, P/P Crab, B/B Mud Jumper.

The strider died way too fast to kill the bird.

Went with Moonshell crab (1,1,2; cast Shell shield->Moon tears->Arcane Slash untill Beauty dies) like said before and worked like a charm.
Used Spawn of G'nathus (2,2,2l; paralyzing shock->jolt->shield. Make sure to shield when Conviction uses Dark Rebirth) but I guess as long as you dont kill Conviction during Dark Rebirth and he stays low its fine.
Went with Benax (1,1,1) instead of a Mud Jumper, pet from Frog rare in Suramar right outside the Nightfallen hub. Instant rare and has better stats for the fight with more power instead of speed you can get with a Mud Jumper

Posted strat does not work. Strider gets one pump off MAYBE before being murdered by Beauty. 2 different striders of different breeds yield similar results.

I had P/S breed from Strider as the strat says, and it could even land 1 water jet on Conviction before dying. I used one Healing Wave on my crab so I didn't trigger the Dark Rebirth, Mud Jumper finished off the low hp Conviction and then Dignity

Xu-Fu's tactics worked fine for me. Moonshell Crab kept dying on first pet i did try it 12 times. Might be better to tell which breed you are using because some Moonshell Crabs will not get past the first enemy pet
