double rabbit/snail also works, elfin rabbit took care of first two pets, whelk finished up, died on last turn and i accidentally brought a level 23 rabbit that got all the xp but was very lucky and would have prob finished off with second rabbit before getting to the snail.

If you happen to have Nibbles, he can solo this fight (2, 2, 2). My Nibbles got unlucky and got critted during Helpful Spirit round and still managed to bring his Delicate Moth to 88 HP before I died, my second pet came in and did a single random attack and won.

Nibbles was perfect. he solo'd this fight basically. I had to only swap to my 2nd pet for the last hit on the moth. Perfect strat, thank you!

maybe there's a strat here i'm not picking up on but this does not work at all. the group damage laid down by the first two pets makes the backup pets far too weak to deal with that damn moth

That's probably because the H/B Rapana Whelk has a whopping 1790 HP and just tanks everything. Whenever it says "any snail" this is always my first choice.

FWIW, Shimmershell Snail (H/P) is pretty much strictly better, as it has the same HP and trades speed (which none of them have enough to go first anyway) for more power.

Mudshell Conch (H/P) should be your go to almost always for snail. It has the slowest speed and most power of all the snails with this move set. 195s/305p/1790h - in rare few cases where you need 260 speed you can use the S/S Rapana

I had a lot of luck replacing the roach and opening with Darkmoon Rabbit actually. Huge, Sharp Teeth! + Stampede takes care of first pet just fine, you can Dodge Curse of Doom and take out the second pet too. Your backline takes a lot of damage but I was able to clean up with the snail, didn't even need the "second" rabbit.

Red Cricket (1-2-2) is totally OP for the first two pets but dies easily with the third. A snail should wrap up the encounter.

+1 for Red Cricket. :) Avoiding the first curse, damaging the Spirit via a powerful ability… what else could one expect? For the moth, indeed either a snail or a Nether Roach.

3 x alpha strike, predatory strike, 1st enemy is dead.
2nd enemy comes, lovestruck him, moth comes,
alpha strike untill your Hatchling is dead

bring Rabbit, scratch, dodge, scratch, moth dies, stampede, ur rabbit dies.

bring 2nd rabbit, flurry -> dodge

Thanks for sharing your strategy--this worked out well. I didn't have two S/S rabbits, but had one S/S and one H/S. I needed a few more moves at the end (I think I used another flurry and a stampede), but it worked out great.

My Roach (Cockroach lvl 25 Rare S/B) was still alive after killed 1st enemy pet, switching to scenario 1, I used swarm as strat said, but as my roach was still not dead I went for flank instead of doing another swarm, which took neatly care of 2nd enemy pet which did kill my roach, but died during the early time of my rabbit (Tolai Hare 25 rare H/S) that then got killed by 3rd enemy pet, and my shimmershell snail 25 rare H/H cleaned up nicely.

Prairie dog killed easily first 2 pets, rapana whelk finished the job

Had really bad luck with my roach so I used Savory Beetle (same move set, 2,2,1) and it worked as you described it would with the roach.

Gold Beetle (s/s) was able to solo first two and get a hit on the moth. Only needed one flank on breezy. Used survival on the undead round which soaked up the first hit from the moth, was able to get one shot off on him. skip the rabbit and go straight to snail.
