Still works in DF patch 10.2.5. I used Naxxy and Cursed Birman as backup but Son of Sethe soloed it just fine. Thank you.

I've seen others saying this doesn't work in SL, but it worked perfectly for me on the first try. Therefore I think some RNG might be in play. I used the script from Baratheus in the comments. Each time it got sketchy and my Son of Sethe dropped low and I thought it surely wouldn't work, he healed to full health the next turn. It's a "long" fight (27 turns) and both backline pets died, but I won and that's what's important lol

worked like a charm, maybe it can fail if u get bad RNG with the enemy malfunction, but not sure

i found it worked much better to prioritise Drain Blood, might have just hit bad luck, but this script worked for me:

this strat works IF you read the comments in the bubble regarding the use of drain blood, however it would be better worked into the actual turn rotation.. missed it the first time around and died as noted to spider.

I didnt feel like taking a long time to fight so I started with boneshard blistering cold and kept using ice spike, it misses at times, but cold hits a lot.Then I bought in Detective Ray and used Immolation, Flame Jet and Skull until he died, finished with son there are a few undead with elemental abilities if you don't have detective ray.

Boneshard was a nice pet to open with and while not many have it, Frosty (2,1,1) was another good 2nd pet to use - wrapping up the last pet with the recommended Son of Seethe (1,2,1) strat above.

I highly recommend using the other two undeads to soften up the first pet. The mech spider's crit can kill Son of Sethe pretty easily.
