Post SL pre-patch this no longer seems viable as written. Kneebiter was unable to do enough damage to kill Scales before dying, which allows Scales to blind your next pet as soon as it comes in and bring it to half health before you can do anything. I solved the problem with the Baby Blizzard Bear (1,2,1). Turn 1-3 Hibernate, Turn 4 Maul, then Bite until blinded and Hibernate while blinded. This allowed the Bear to get off a couple hits after Scales died before being killed. My 3rd pet was Argi (2,2,2) turn order was Chew, Headbutt, Horn Gore.

Alternatively, you can lead with Black Claw, then Hunting Party, then Bloodfang. Hunting Party only needs to hit once to apply Shattered Defenses, so Bloodfang kills.

I think you need a breed restriction on your Zandalari for the way this strat is written. Mine is a P/S, which is slower than Scales, and it could not kill him. It also means that Bloodfang is wasted in Turn 1. If you're slower, you end up having to pass the first 2 turns.

I continued with the strat, but I always ended up with Stickers at full hp, or right around 1k.

You are correct, only the S/S breed is fast enough to beat Scales to the punch on the first round and I have updated the strategy accordingly.

I understand your complaint. However, I suggest the use of leveling pets for after you have this tamer down, and just want to do the WQ for other reasons to get the maximum benefit.

That being said, you raise a good point and to make sure people don't get confused by my (cleary unobvious) intent at including these options , I will make special notes in the info of all of my strategies.

Sorry to give you the impression I that I was illiterate.
