Solid strat for leveling a pet. I usually take my lvl 1s outside the garrison and one Prole de espinas gélidas encounter gets them to lvl 8, more than ready for this. Then a couple of this and they're 25 (first gets them to 20).

It might fail if you miss the Explode on Tyri (you might actually save it killing it with your Estrellita de hierro), or if you kill Puzzle prematurely with a Desatado critical.

392/400 wins using P/S Iron Starlette
Slightly modified script based on this breed's damage/health. I can not remember if I accounted for other breeds as I wrote the script over a year ago :-)
Brings in level pet in case of crit by starlette. Does not matter if starlette dies or not, level pet gets the same amount of XP.
Does not quit if explode fails on Tyri as it only adds an extra round and there's about a 70% chance of still getting a win. Obviously, low level pets will die if they can not handle the extra damage.

I find out this strat hella RNG, especially with Tyri, before my Starlette get a chance to finnish him with Toxic Smoke, he either stuns me or use cleave, which makes me miss my attack and also usually kills levelling pet.

What worked really well for me was passing twice with the Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling, before killing Deebs. Let Thunderbolt recharge, use it to kill Deebs if he's within the damage range (162 for me), otherwise just finish him off with a Breath after your 2nd Thunderbolt. Otherwise, I use the exact same method as posted above. This way, Tyri's health is a bit lower, and as long as you don't miss with Toxic Smoke, you're guaranteed to kill him on Starlette's turn 1.

Puzzle is somewhat in the 'danger zone' this way, as he'll be on really low health after Wind-Up, but I don't think he dies unless you crit... at which point he's dead whether you use this method or not! Won't say for sure if it's fool proof, but it's worked for me every time so far :)

Just to add context to my comment: This method is so your carry pet's health won't matter. He might kill your Dragonling, but it's mechanic, so it'll just revive - since it's faster than Tyri, you can still use Explode. Since his health is lower when he enters the battle, Starlette will kill Tyri quicker, regardless of your damage roll with Dragonling's Breath. Tyri gets only one turn to attack, and thus, your carry pet is safe!

Edit: If you're worried Puzzle might die from Wind-Up, you can always stall a few turns to let him heal from his Humanoid passive. Makes for a somewhat slower run, but very, very safe - this way, the only uncertainty is if you crit with your super Wind-Up.

Edit edit: Damage roll seems to be the same every time on both Wind-Up, Toxic Smoke, and Thunderbolt. If you get a crit somewhere along the way, you need to stall to let him regen, or just spam Toxic Smoke and ignore Wind-Up entirely. If you don't crit or miss with anything, and Puzzle hits with his damaging attacks so he activates his healing, Puzzle will survive with 1 HP after Wind-Up. (editado)

There is a 10% chance explode miss Tyri (and a level 1-5 pet will die), and a 10% chance for any toxic Smoke to miss (darkness), and sometimes Tyri hits harder 60-100. Now it's way more annoying when Puzzle does not use the same dodge - attack - portal (~10% of the time). By using a level 8+ pet and only using explode when the 8+ can kill it's a 100% win instead of ~76%. Then again you can reset it easily.

Solid Strategy. Most of the time, I'm able to level a pet from 1 - 25 in a few matches. Only a few times does the level 1 perish to Tyri's attack. The other times, Puzzle dies before the Iron Starlet can explode.

Yes, you need around 250 hp on your lvl pet so it will survive Tyri. And the only way to fail is with a Wind-up crit on Puzzle.

bonjour, cette strat est faisable avec des mascottes lvl 1 à up, il faut temporiser avec Deebs, passer une ou deux fois selon les dommages déjà envoyé, de manière à avoir un nouveau cd de "éclair". Ensuite il faut continuer au souffle sur Tyri et faire exploser après le respawn. Normalement il est en dessous des 560 pv, donc c'est gagné.
