Pro Tip from AllauraRayne: "Make sure Nether Faerie Dragon has less health than Twilight Clutch-Sister. If it doesn't, start the pet battle with Nether Fraerie in the first slot to reduce it's health. Then restart the battle in the format above and all is well!" Nice one, second try for me (editado)

If they have the same health, as mine did, you can move the Hermana de guarida Crepuscular into the second slot and it will pull her into battle first.

My Nether Faerie Dragon (H/P) and Twilight Clutch Sister (P/B) had equal health at 1465 HP. I put the Sister in my second slot and she was properly swapped in per this strat. The script does NOT work in this instance. But ignoring it and following the strat manually still worked out perfectly fine. (editado)

Thank you very much for pointing that out. I bought a lvl 1 P/B Clutch for 1k, because I'm lazy, but then proceeded leveling it XD slotted the pet accordingly and managed to follow the strategy like normal.

Side note: I noticed round 12 I took 600 damage to be killed so was a near max hit needed. Might have been different otherwise. Also I didn't need the final move (editado)

There are three things to mention here:

1) RNG - Shadeflicker can prematurely kill your pet without even landing a critical strike because of the significantly varying damage it inflicts. This should be included in the tags.

2) Breed - Nether Faerie Dragon cannot be a breed which would cause it to have more health than the Twilight Clutch-Sister. This is already stated in the notes, but it would be good to also add it as a tag.

3) There is a step missing between Turn 12 and Turn 13. I assume you meant to include a pass round there.


In the end, I was unable to get this strategy to work. I only managed to have Chrominius use his Surge of Power once in dozens of attempts. Shadeflicker's second Void Gate kept leaving Chrominius with too little health to be able to use Surge of Power.

This strategy may still work for others, but the RNG involved is stupidly high.

Good strat. I subbed yu'la (1,2,2) for my NFD because it had more hp than TWCS. I used the same rotation except for arcane blast I subbed breath. Worked on the first try.

There are a few issues with this strat. If the 2nd and 3rd pets are same health then they have to be swapped, and the script is broken.

If you're having trouble with Shadeflicker swapping in your NFD instead of TCS -assuming they have the same HP, just switch their places. Great strat; flawless second time after switching NFD/TCS spots. (editado)

On the page with the strategy for Nether Faerie Dragon/Twilight Clutch-Sister/Sprite Darter Hatchling there is a comment from erikae on 04/20/2018 that has this strategy in a different order: Chrominius/Twilight Clutch-sister/Nether Faerie Dragon. Maybe a solution for if you have different breeds.

This strat did work but I had to put the Twilight in 2nd slot. Both 2nd/3rd pet had exactly same health so it wouldn't work until I realized why.

Got unlucky with RNG the first time and my nether faerie dragon (P/B) died before it could get life exchange off, but the second time it worked beautifully. The twilight clutch-sister's prismatic barrier works wonders in this strat.
