As @Servv said a few years ago, if your clutch sister is S/B you'll find this very easy. With P/B both pets have 273 speed which means you have to keep restarting until your pet goes first.

An even easier fight was with Twilight Clutch Sister 2, 1, 2 Thunderscale Whelp 1, 2, 2 and either Stormborne or Nexus Whelp *, 2, 2.
Start with Meteorite, phase shift and twilight fire, swap in thunderscale, do thunderbolt, lightning and tail slap until thunder is dead. Swap back in twilight do phase shift, meteorite and fire twilight dies, arcane storm and one hit from mana surge should see last pet dead, but if not mana goes for 2 more hits and your whelp has the health to get them in.

Note Breed of pets with this strat is irrelevant.

As of 11/30/2022, this still works! I followed the instructions closely and got it on first try. The only way I could see it ever failing is by unlucky crits by the enemy team, or if the Rock Barrage does not MISS multiple times <3

I didn't have Clutch Sister so used Sprite Darter from the other strategy. Emerald Proto died with 400hp left on 3rd pet.

Eeeesh this needs some breed-guidance. If you gotta use P/B Clutch-Sister, then the strat should say Restart until Clutch-Sister goes first. And that could cost A LOT of bandages. As for the EPW, only P/S is faster than 2nd pet.
