This worked despite me having a poor/grey vale marmot and an uncommen/green voidstalker runt. Luckily, Lurking Owl Kitten (2/*/1) finished it off. (edited)

Hmm... What pets and breeds were you using? And where did the strat fail? You are correct that there is some RNG with how many times Scales Lash ability hits. I tried another 3 times. 1st try didn't even need 3rd pet. 2nd & 3rd attempts Vale Marmot died earlier, but was able to finish off w/ 3rd pet. Lurking Owl Kitten (if you have him) makes good 3rd against Stickers.

Came here to second Lurking Owl Kitten as 3rd. The RNG relies on how many times you transform from Frog Kiss and how long your Marmot & Warpstalker live for as well. 2nd time it went exactly as instructions did.

Did it with Kovok (1,2,1), use Digest Brains on 2d turn and on cd; Feline Familiar (1, 1, 2); Moon moon (1,1,1)

Death Adder Hatchling, Moon Moon and Rage Peep, breed does not matter.

use poison fang until you can hit, blinding poison, poison fang and puncture wound snake dies breaker kills adder with headbutt, bring in Moon Moon do Moon Tears, Howl and Moon Fang twice Breaker dies Moon Fang on Frog until last move and howl Moon Moon dies, bring in Rage Peep Peck twice maybe 3 times and frog is dead. No RNG easy fight.

I also had to use the 3rd pet; my Warpstalker Runt was only able to get in one attack against Stickers before dying. I used a B/B Vale Marmot and B/B Warpstalker Runt. I'd randomly picked a P/S Arctic Fox Kit (2-1-1) for my third pet. Crouch, Leap, Flurry, then Leap till Stickers died.

Ran this script 5 times without an issue. RNG may affect 3rd pet as I have only used 1st abilty (unless its the same as an ability already in the script. i.e. burrow). Thx to Greeneggs for steps:

H/H Vale Marmot won't work unless you're lucky with a crit. If not, you'll get blinded again by Scales a second time.

For some reason my Marmot (PP) and Warpstalker (PS) died earlier than described. Luckily my random pet (#3) was a brave one and could win the fight. Changes in 8.1?

I was able to beat this with a Crystalline Broodling (1,1,1) and a Feline Familiar (1,1,1). I had a Dart in my third slot, but didn't end up needing him.
