As others mentioned. this strat expects Apocalypse to be cast first, which screechy might not do. This script accounts for that and does Life Exchange instead of Ampified Magic on that turn (thanks to Skarpethinn). I used Mini Mindslayer, Nordrassil Wisp (B/B Uncommon), and Arcane Eye for the win.

Still works in SL prepatch, second pet was done after the Light cast. Used an Enchanted Lantern instead of the festival one.

This strat is dependent on apocalypse being cast by deathscreetch 1st.It worked for me first time. If he hadn't cast apocalypse, I just would have forfieted...Mindslayer only comes in P/S...I used an enchanted lantern, only comes in B/B...didn't need 3rd pet..Lantern killed with light

It should be noted here that the strat as it written is designed around Deathscreecher casting Greater Apocalypse in the first round, which he doesn't always do. As you can't tell until after you've already picked your attack, if he DOESN'T cast Greater Apocalypse in the first round, simply skip Step 2, & cast Life Exchange in the second round - you won't get a third round otherwise.

Lantern and Eldritch Manafiend

Use lantern first (you should do this in the strat above as well), and you can get a lot more hits in on lantern before finishing off with amplify magic and surge of power from manafiend.

I used Enchanted Lantern first and almost solo'd the fight. I used a level 23 Mindslayer to finish off and level up a little bit at the same time! Thanks!

Magic Team 1:
Minfernal (H/H) - x, x, 2. Breeds with more health are preferred because damage from Explode depends on total health.
Netherspace Abyssal (H/H) - x, 2, 1. Breeds with more health are preferred because damage from Explode depends on total health.
Any Magic with a high damage 1 turn ability

Minfernal:
1 - Explode

Netherspace Abyssal:
1 - Meteor Strike
2 - Explode

Any Magic:
1 - High damage 1 turn ability

As a high damage 1 turn ability I have used Surge of Power from Erudite Manafiend.

Magic Team 2:
Any Magic with Amplify Magic and Mana Surge abilities
Any Magic with Amplify Magic and Mana Surge abilities
Any Magic with Amplify Magic and Mana Surge abilities

Use Amplify Magic and Mana Surge. This team is more risky than Team 1 because of RNG.

My team was: Arcane Gorger (S/S), Arcane Gorger (P/B) and Arcane Gorger (H/H).

Magic pets are gonna have an easy time in general, and I doubt people still need help, but...just in case, this was my "EZ-PZ" strat.
Blood Boil - Drain Power > Expunge > Ooze Touch > Dead
Creeping Tentacle - Creeping Insanity > Tentacle Slap until you die.
Eldritch Manafiend - Soulrush > Surge of Power --- Boss is Dead. :P

I tried several strats and there was some RNG in most of them. This strat was one that just assured victory no matter the RNG involved. Enjoy. :P

Did this easy enough with my Lunar Lantern (122), Jade Oozeling (123) and Disgusting Oozeling (123). Flash, Light, Beam (til dead), Expunge, Corrosion, Ooze Touch til dead and Expunge to kill.

Pass didn't work for me, so forfeited and tried again without using Pass in Turn 1 and it worked great. Never needed my 3rd Magic Pet and came out with just over half health left on my Enchanted Lantern

Great strategy.

Any idea why rematch string never picks up my Lunar Lantern and slot it? It's the only lantern I have and the spot is always empty in 'any lantern' strings.

Hey :)
Rematch currently doesn't support wildcards or "Any type X", so I added specific lanterns to the rematch string, whenever I use "Any Lantern". If you don't own this specific lantern though, rematch doesn't add a pet at all. I'm in contact with the Gello, the author of Rematch, and we might have a better solution for this at some point :-)
