I didn't have my Arcane Eye leveled, but Enchanted Broom in its place made this a lot easier with the mechanical attack advantage.

Tried this 5 times in a row. Each time my manafiend couldnt finish off the first pet before dying and then nothing worked. Tried swapping the two manafiends and tried another 5 times. Still cant kill it.

After 2 unsuccessful tries made some slight changes and it worked like a charm. Put Erudite Manafiend in first slot as he had a better health pool. Sequence as described above and had health left over to dig in to some of Wumpas' health. Started Arcane Eye with Drain Power and then Manasurge and Psychic Blast. Used all the Eye's spells on cooldown and was able to two-pet this trainer. Must have been part lucky crits too, but it can be done. Didn't need Erudite Manafiend in third slot.

It's funny how these things work sometimes. I read your comment before attempting, and tried your version of the strat twice with failures both times. Then decided to try the strat above, and it worked first try.

Eldritch Manafiend, Mini Mindflayer, Energized Manafiend worked perfectly same as this strat, but i didnt have lvled Arcane Eye, and my Erudite Manafiend wasnt rare quality. One difference is that Mini Mindflayer doesnt have Psychic Blast ability, but i didnt even have to use it, Mana surge was enough.

I used Mini Mindflayer too and it worked, but it's important to use Amplify Magic first. Just go Amplify Magic > Mana Surge > Interrupting Gaze.
