As of SL-prepatch this still works. I got stunned on first try so had to restart but worked fine on the 2nd attempt. It seemed the tdscript broke on 2nd pet fight as the enemy didn't die and I got stunned so had to take over from there just spamming 1.

Did not have the pet combinations suggested here. What I used was Legs (Pump, Surge of Power, Whirlpool), Eldritch Manafield (Arcane Blast, Surge of Power, Soul Rush), Willy (Tongue Lash, Eye Blast, Rot). The start was:
Legs: Whirlpool > Pump > Pump > Surge of Power. Thrug dies. Legs is killed by Wumpas.
Eldritch Manafield : Arcane Blast > Arcane Blast > Soul Rush > Surge of Power. Wumpas dies.
Eldritch Manafiels still: Arcane Blast > any (Eldritch Mansfield dies)
Willy: Rot > Eye Blast > Tongue Lash > Tongue Lash. Baeloth should die here.

yeah this doesnt work at all the pump doesnt bring his hp down low enough so your left with ~200 on the first enemy and legs dies

I just double checked and it absolutely does work. I suspect you did not do the WHIRLPOOL first, because if you try to do it with just the pump you will die and Thrug having 290 hp.
The order is Whirlpool > Pump > Pump > Surge of Power. When you cast SoP Thrug has approximately 586 hp left.

Works great - one thing to note is that if your soulrush connects with a stun, you'll want to start over as you really don't want Baeloth coming at that point!

Strategy worked perfectly on my first try. Broom did get stunned on the second turn, but I decided to go ahead and play it out (I've got tons of pet bandages), and we pulled it off. Broom had to come in on the last turn to clean up (no pun intended, honest!), but all went as detailed. As always, thanks for the grrrrreat strategy!!

Suggested strategy worked on 1st try. Only change I made was 4 windups instead of 3 wind ups batter and wind up. Then on second pet I had to make one attack and then sweep. Rest the same.

This worked exactly as written up to Turn 8 for me. Illuminate didn't kill Baeloth, but the speedy broom had enough HP left to finish off the whole fight. I had a decent amount of HP left on the mindslayer, too, if I had needed it.

I just need the Sharptalon rumble quest, following your flying guide and used Hyjal Wisp in place of eh Teroclaw Hatchling and a Manafiend pet, The Wisp follows moslty the pattern of teh Hatchling with a slight change in Wish instead of Nature's healing move but worked really successfully, the Wisp took out two of the 3 pets and I could easily have used the manafiend to kill the remaining one, had I not swapped to the Shaprtalon Hatchling.
Could be worth a look into to as another alternative for magic part of this family.

Didn't have mindslayer or any lanterns lvl'd . Subbed Arcane Eye and Brightpaw . Follow guide except don't sweep when Thugtusk re-enters: wind-up 'til broom dies, mana-surge with eye,. Only had to bring in last pet for 1 arcane blast on Baeloth, so if you don't have Brightpaw, any other lvl 25 magic pet should suffice.

I don't have the broom or many of the mentioned pets here... I used a little more common pets:

Servant of Demidos 1-2-2
Eldritch Manafiend 1-2-1
Arcane Eye 2-1-2

Servant almost solo'd the fight. His priority is Siphon Anima if you will get the full heal, Soulrush, and Magic Sword to fill.

Eldritch Manafiend priority is Arcane Storm and keep it up, Arcane Blast until you're about to die or get stunned and die, then cast Surge of Power.

Arcane Eye or any magic pet with Mana Surge. Just Mana Surge and win.

really does not work EVERY time at the point it says switch to mindslayer it will just end up getting killed before it can get the lifeexchange of to much rng with all the either 2or3 times hitting moves.
After trying some different ways i went with sweep > wumpas comes in > 4x wind up he dies (restart if he stuns you)
Thrugtusk > 2x wind up you will die after that switch to mind slayer (2-1-1 so different then abov strat!) interupting gaze > mana surge > thrugtush dies.
You will get stuned by baeloth after that interupting gaze > manasurge you probaly die at this point (or before the manasurge even) very dependant if baelorths trash hits you 2 or 3 times just finish him of with your latern after that (a wisp with flash light and soulward work also)

Empowered Manafiend (1-1-2). Amplify. Flux. Arcane Blast until dead.

Swap to Servant of Demidos (1-2-1). Magic Sword to kill first pet. Touch of Animus. Magic Sword until Wumpas is dead. Touch of Animus if you get unlucky with Crits and it comes up.

When Baeloth swaps in, put up Lightning Shield. Touch of Animus when you can. He killed himself on the shield.

3rd pet was whatever magical you want.

I did not have these pets leveled save the broom so I used Ethereal Soul-Trader for amp magic/life exchange and Nordrassil Wisp in the last spot and it worked but it was very close. I don't necessarily recommend it, but I wanted to note is is possible
