Depending on the RNG of the fight you can use a lvl 1 pet instead of a 15 to get experience. I've done it a few times. As I said though, it's completely RNG. (editado)

By the way, having got the number, you can generate that ability's tooltip which bases upon a specific stat value. As the only stat the tooltips use dynamically is Power, you will use two numbers over here, e.g.:

I was working on the Bloodgazer Team Rumble, and I used two Zandalari (Anklerender P/P and Kneebiter P/S) with this fight, Blottis (Size Doesn't Matter), and the one with the Shimmering Aquafly quest. Worked like a charm, with Anklerender in the first slot.

And for the Sharptalon Team Rumble I used Abyssius (2,2,2) and Arcane Eye (1,2,2) for Mana Tap, and only needed to use one move with the Sharptalon to finish it up (Predatory Strike)

Any 2 power breed dragonkin with Tail Sweep and Healing Flame make mincemeat of these manafiends as long as they're NOT P/S breed.
I use Infinite Whelpling and Spawn of Onyxia.
The strat depends on their ability rng somewhat but it basically consists of just Tail Sweep and Healing Flame with some passing at whatever moment/s necessary, i.e.; if Evanescence or Prismatic Barrier is up. I don't worry about what abilities they have, the script takes care of it.
It's a fairly simple TDScript as well.

I should clarify; of the 7 pets available with both of these abilities, Crimson Whelpling and Wild Crimson Hatchling are unsuitable as they are speed breeds, and Untamed Hatchling is unsuitable as although it has just the one breed and it's H/P, its speed stat is too high.
That leaves a choice of 4; Infinite Hatchling and Spawn of Onyxia which come in P/P, P/S and P/B breeds, Onyxian Whelpling which comes in P/B, and Nightmare Whelpling which comes in H/P.
Onyxian is probably a bit rare now, being a WoW 5th Anniversary FoS, and not many want to pay what most want to charge for Nightmare on the AH, but the other two (the two I use) are easily obtainable.

soloed it with the MPD... did swap in the lvling pet then whupped azz with another decoy and used breath must have gotten some good crits

Confirmed, soloed with MPD. Didn't swap lvling pet tho and used Thunderbolt twice. Finished at 757 HP left on the MPD.

The strategy as written never worked for me because the Arcane Explosions kept killing my Level Pet. I needed to kill faster so I used Nexus Whelpling 1/2/2 instead of Clockwork Gnome and attacked with it after rotating my Level Pet in. Arcane Storm if needed, then Mana Surge and Tail Sweep took care of the first 2, brought back Dragonling for clean-up, Decoy, Breath and done.

My MPD/Nexus Whelping is my everyday leveling random pets with wild pets set. It also worked like a charm with this Pet Tamer although to be fair my MPD did almost wipe all 3 out single handedly!

I think I lucked out....MPD (S/S - Ninja) took them all out on his own. Followed the strat up until swapping the level pet and then just used breath and decoy when it was off cd. Cheers :)

Soloed it with Anubisath Idol for the Direbeak hatchling quest. Rupture plus sandstorm and crush worked quite nicely.

I'm not sure if I just got good luck with the fight or what, but I found it super simple. doesn't really matter what abilities they have, and it doesn't matter if you have a clockwork gnome (I don't). Admittedly, I was working on a level 20 pet, so that's a limiting factor.

Anyway. I used Spawn of onyxia, 212
Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling 112
Leveling pet (20+ for cleave damage to be safe.

Round 1+2 lift off
Round 3 Tail sweep and healing flame on cd until Font of Mana is dead
Seed of mana comes in
Round 1 Tail sweep
Round 2+3 lift off, should avoid surge of power
Round four, healing flame on CD or tail sweep until Seed of Mana is dead
Essence of mana came in and used surge of power, finishing off my spawn. I brought in my leveling pet, then swapped to my pandaren dragonling while they were recovering.
1. Decoy
2. Breath until the Essence of Mana is dead.

Worked well, didn't need to rez, got decent xp. Didn't need to start anything over, although my level 20 pet was definitely a little low.

I think you mean 211 for Spawn, if you're using Lift-Off. Was confused :)

Also, Spawn of Onyxia P/S just soloed all three of them if using Healing Flame on CD. Never had to bring in either Dragonling or leveling 20+ pet.

It's up to RNG what abilities the mana fiends have, if all of them get Arcane Explosion level 10+ is usually not enough.
You could also get 3 fiends without Arcane Explosion and then a level 1 can be used.
But you won't know before you start the battle.

For Bloodgazer Hatchling quest (win w/2 beasts) I used,
Zandalari Anklerenderer [2,1,2]; Bloodgazer Hatchling [1,1,2]; Dreadmaw [2,2,2]
> Zandalari Anklerenderer > Black Claw > Hunting Party (Font of Mana dead)
> Black Claw > Leap (Zandalari Anlerender dead)
> Bloodgazer Hatchling > Falcosaur Swarm! > Slicing Wind (Essence of Mana dead)
> Warning Squak > Falcosaur Swarm! (Bloodgazer dead)
> Dreadmaw > Flame Breath > Deep Burn until win (1st time probably)
Result: Easy 1st try win and quest credit

Your post gave me an idea. Ran with my Anklerender, then Kneebiter, both with black claw then hunting party and a few leaps if I had health left. Finished with my Bloodgazer using swarm. Easy victory.

Murkidan (2,1,2) other 2 pets were not important. Murmorphosis, Eye Beam, Fel Immolate, Fel Immolate. Rinse repeat Murkidan should take out first 2 easy, and die on 3rd, then use either pet to do couple of hits, i had Grommloc (1,2,1) used Mighty Charge and fight was done. This was for the direbeak hatchling final challenge before getting the mount.

I had a level 12 Harmonious Porcupette as my level pet - I hit Celestial Blessing while he was behind decoy and swapped back to Mech Pandaren Dragonling and finished the fight with breath and decoy when avail - never used Clockwork Gnome

1st Slot > Level Pet @ 600+ health (I used my Corgnelius at level 10)
2nd Slot > Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling Skills > 1, 2, 2
3rd Slot > Emerald Whelpling Skills > 1, 2, 2



Move 1 > Corg 2
swap to Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling > Spam Breath til Enemy Pet 1 dies
Decoy
Spam Breath and use Decoy on cooldown

I did not even need my 3rd pet - the MMechanical Pandaren Dragonling pretty much mopped the floor!

Hope this helps and with a Safari Hat + Lesser Pet Treat Corg went from 10 to 15

For the Snowfeather Falcosaur quest with the Snowfeather + 2 undead, I used Frosty (2,2,2) and Scourged Whelpling (2,1,1). It was a close call, but I pulled it off. I know that Frosty is not very common, so Voodoo Figurine may work better.

It would be "stuck" in past tense; "sticked" is not a common usage. As written, though, it's correct, although maybe Xu-Fu fixed it since you commented.

In Turn 3 you have "Swap back to your" I think "Dragonling" is missing. Also, for the third enemy pet, Essence of Mana, Flux is also of concern as it does 160 damage to your backline pets.

If you have 2 mech pandaren dragonlings, you can use both and not really have to worry about the build in my experience, but i'm bringing a little higher of a level pet to remove some of the RNG from the explosions.
