No matter what I do, I cannot get this strategy to work! After the second Surge, Cackling Flame still has 4 health left and always kills my Spirit Crab on that round. I rez, I surge for the third time, I die. I spent an hour on this last night, and I always made sure to crit on at least the first surge, but it still never worked for me. I'm going to try it with some different Undead pets next time the quest is up, if I find anything new I'll make sure to post. Thank you for all of your help with your guides! This has been the only fight I have had problems with so far.

I also had trouble with my Spirit Crab dying quick. I replaced the Crab with Undead Valkyrie and she was definitely the star of the show. Curse of Doom and then Haunt to bring down the healing opponents fast.

This wasn't working for me. Kept the Snowfeather in, used Squawk first. P/S Eternal Strider in the second slot. Hit cleansing rain to cancel out the scorched earth then pump til it died. Third slot was a P/P Emperor Crab, whirlpool, renewing mists, surge til whirlpool popped, rinse and repeat. The crab was still over half health when the last elemental died.
