I was having a lot of trouble with this strat today but then I added the Blind Rat as my 3rd pet and worked like a charm! Just hit them with the Call Darkness right away and finish off easy peasy.

I used a S/S rabbit. Works just as fine and you always have control of the turns. Did not have to even use the 3rd pet.

I used Burrow a couple of times to deal some nice beast damage and to dodge the most dangerous attacks in addition to dodge. :)

Used this strategy (Thanks a bunch BTW) but brought level 14 Tainted Rat and switched him in / out when I would have passed twice with with my snail. Continued as strat suggested all the way thru. Got 5k + xp and leveled the rat to 18. Thanks for sharing :)

Nibbles 1 1 1 takes the first 2 snails by himself, switching to a Lvl 1+ pet for round 2 and back, and got the third snail to ~120 health. Just finish off with any other critter.

Both S/S Breeds works, too. Unfortunately didn't find a way to get a LvL1+-Pet through. If you swap it in after Snails death the Rabbit rota is broken. Btw, mine was a Rare Whelk S/S...so Rapana works.

Unfortunately the Any Snail refers to any named snail. Most snails have multiple breeds and each fight may depend on breed. So I'd try other snails you have with different breeds to see what breed works. If i get a chance later I'll test this as well. And put a note on the breed that worked for me.

Also make sure they are Rare, level 25 and you follow the steps in the guide.

I've tested a few snails and Rabbits and each one I tried worked perfectly. My H/S snail was even level 20 and killed Rocklick and 30% of Slow Moe HP's.

Are you trying to kill him before turn 4 or did your fight last more than 10 rounds?

Only used two pets for this, Rapana Whelk and my lvl 23 Auburn Ringtail... the raccoons might be a better choice because of their strong beast attacks.

I had a variation when I tried it today. Rabbit Turn 2+ reads "Scratch until Slow Moe is dead (should be 1 or 2 turns)". In my case it was one turn because of a crit. This left me unable to Dodge Snot's Dive because it was not yet off CD. I won with the rabbit anyway, but if this happens, Snot should be at very low health for your third to finish off.

Otherwise, the strategy went as specified.

Oh, minor typo. The strat header says "Any Snail" but Turn 4+ of Slow Moe says Rapana Whelk.
