Gorgemouth (and others) are the ones you kill for the world quests. All of them are significantly less difficult than the 10 pets you kill for the Abhorrent Adversaries achievement. (None of these 10 can be a WQ to my knowledge)
Scorch is part of the WQ set, not the Adversaries set. The only achievement attached to him, is completing x number of Shadowlands WQs while they're up in.
