If you use this strat don't put level 1 pets in the leveling slots, Tyri's Omnislash will kill them before you can swap them on Puzzle, give them a Flawless Battle-Training Stone to get them to 8 or just be sure to put pets above that level.

At the time I'm writing this the current script in use for this strat is the one posted by Lanseril. You will find that the script behaves differently from the written steps once Puzzle comes in, because it tries to only bring level pets out when it's safe to do so. It is mostly a matter of "just trust the process." HOWEVER: The weather effect that Tyri sets adds some randomness, and if you miss her enough times, she will kill your dragon and your level pets will have to be strong enough to take care of Puzzle. I had a streak of 3 dragon deaths from Tyri in a row, but the script usually does fine (although when it works, sometimes it only has a chance to bring out one of your 2 level pets).

I'm loving this strategy. First, because it uses a single non-exotic pet (I have 3 MPDs). Second, it levels up 2 pets. Third, it's pretty fast. I think it averages around 2 minutes. Fourth, it's reliable enough that I'm watching Netflix while battling.

I lowered the requirement to level 10 and haven't noticed any issues, but I haven't leveled very many at that lower level yet.

I tweaked it a bit for Puzzle and now I'm 47 for 50 battles. This makes short work of a bunch of level 20+ pets obtained from the wild that I've had in my queue. The biggest danger is the MPD getting stunned or hit with Darkness from Tyri, usually after the MPD has a miss.

Maybe I just have the worst luck - but this strat fails HALF the time for me, because MPD constantly misses trying to kill Tyri. That "10% miss darkness" weather is a strong 10%. I have an SS MPD and Tyri got his stun out often. At the least, this needs an RNG tag.

I am at 85% success on 97 tries. 1 miss on Tyri is usually winnable, but 2 misses is an automatic forfeit for me. I usually use thunderbolt first instead of breath on Puzzle and may put a block in if health is really low.

If you want to do any good, or for people to take your comment seriously, you have to explain HOW and WHERE it went wrong for you. On what round did it fail? What happened that wasn't supposed to happen? When did your MPD die (I assume, since that's the only way to fail, I think).

How many times did you try? Did the opposing team get crits? Where?

Ideally, you would provide a log, but at least give some information if you want anyone to take a look at it.

I modified the strategy slightly: after bringing in the leveling pets, I use Thunderbolt against Puzzle before Breath.
Out of 26 fights, I lost one due to bad RNG when my Dragonling missed against Tyri and was stunned the next round. The other two times that happened my lvl 23 leveling pets were able to save the fight.
All in all, according to Rematch, with 25 wins and 1 loss, a 96% success rate.

Strategy has been updated to English, as per the rules of the site.

I spent several hours following this strategy today.

* I used a 25 rare SS MPD
* When the MPD comes in after the carry pets, you can always cast Thunderbolt.
* My lowest carry pet was a level 8; as the day went on I leveled higher pets, and got more comfortable with the very easy routine.
* The real problem can be misses on Tyri due to darkness. If she gets to recast Surge of Light, this will stun your MPD and you'll need to be creative. But with an SS MPD, this doesn't happen often.
* 59 contests. 3 team wipeouts (5%). 2 cases (3.3%) where one pet died and didn't get XP. 1 case (1.6%) where MPD died but both pets got XP.
* So overall I'm calling it a 95% success rate, and that's good enough for me!
* If Squirt ever learns to play this game correctly, this strat is in big trouble. :-)
