I used a level 21 mechanical as my first pet and dropped a decoy, then switched to my level 1 pet. I was able to avoided both the Death Bleat on the leveling pet, then the Rot on Benax. I saved the Bubble for Eleanor's second Rot. Easy peasy.

Ok, I've tried something a few times, so far I've found out that you don't NEED 2nd slot to be "Any Humanoid", it can be a 2nd levelling pet. Eleanor will kill the 2nd pet anyway, but even dead, the 2nd slot will get 1/2 the exp as the first slot. tdscript remains the same.

If you are extremely unlucky (like I was) this could fail. Benax's lick only hit twice on every turn and Eleanor crit on her second-to-last turn. This left my leveling pet exposed to Eleanor's after-death final attack, so I lost. So there is a minor amount of RNG, but the odds are like 100:1 at best.

Worked fine first try. Benax actually died to Eleanor in the undead round so L1 pet got all the XP there was to be had.
