How does it work: The enemy Imp (Frill) is almost harmless to critters. The idea is to keep him as enemy front pet (he uses Fade and next turn you stun the pet you don't want to see and Frill comes back) and to kill enemy backline pets with Pheromones. A fawn provides needed healing. Any fawn type and breed works, but the more power it has, the better it works (best is P/P Gleamhoof Fawn) - more power = more healing = less turns wasted on healing. The strategy works with 1 lovebird, but the script won't work in this case. Pheromones' going to have lower uptime and the bird'll need more healing. The fight is going to last even longer. This worked for me today. I wanted to try a strategy that was quicker than the one I've been using on previous visits. It worked, had 22 health left on last pet so was a little worried.
I think the one change I would make next time is iat turn 17, would instead use Roar of the dead, then on undead turn do ghostly bite instead of passing. Would be the same # of steps, but that way you don't lose a turn due to be stunned.

Something might have changed recently. This strat is always resulting in my Tricorne dying too early to finish the fight. I'm following this strategy to the letter, here! If someone can offer a tip I will happily take it.

How does it work: The enemy Imp (Frill) is almost harmless to critters. The idea is to keep him as enemy front pet (he uses Fade and next turn you stun the pet you don't want to see and Frill comes back) and to kill enemy backline pets with Pheromones. A fawn provides needed healing. Any fawn type and breed works, but the more power it has, the better it works (best is P/P Gleamhoof Fawn) - more power = more healing = less turns wasted on healing. The strategy works with 1 lovebird, but the script won't work in this case. Pheromones' going to have lower uptime and the bird'll need more healing. The fight is going to last even longer.
