I used this strategy for when Wise Mari is up since I only have 1 Lil' Bling and he was KO'ed. It worked better than Wild Golden Hatchling, Mei Li Sparkler, and Enchanted Broom.

As of 8.0.1, this does not seem to work anymore. Your Sunreaver Micro-Sentry can't get Xu-Fu down with two Haywires, and gets destroyed so you cannot use Call Lightning. Your Zepplin does not have enough health to take him down with a couple of Missile shots.

None of these pets had any changes in 8.0.1, so that shouldn't be the problem. Of course, there can be problems that shouldn't happen, but I have to wonder.

How many attempts did you make? You say that the Micro-Sentry is destroyed before it can Call Lightning. Did Xu-Fu perhaps get a crit or two in there? If so, that's just bad RNG, and not caused by the new patch. I see a comment from 2016 from someone saying the strat failed for them, so it may have been happening before. Bad RNG can defeat a lot of strats.

I've also been having issues with this fight w/ mech yeti, bling clockwork gnome team that always worked before, just in recent month. Not sure what changed, but I think something did in this fight bc I never had trouble with that strat before.

Uh, this strat works perfectly fine. It works so well, in fact, that if you get just one crit off Anklerender you don't even need Sunreaver. Without the crit its easy cleanup for Sunreaver. Disregard this garbage pleb's complaint.

Used my Menagerie Custodian (Ion Cannon) instead of Sunreaver Micro Sentry which died in an earlier fight. Worked great!

I used Zandalari Kneebiter (S/S) instead of the Anklerender, worked perfect.
Xu-Fu got nuked.
