This is based on the original 10.1 PTR tamer pets' stats/quality/etc. It might need adjustments on last-minute changes (potential nerfs).
In all my testing I've only seen Fethres using Притвориться мертвым once, so please excuse me for completely ignoring the RNG that would add to the fights. |

it's a bit rng. the first two tries the strat worked as shown. the third try i lost. the fourth try Dread Hatchling destroyed Fethers and Beeks but Talons killed Dread Hatchling and Sentinel before dying to Gilean.

I came here to see if maybe there was an update and SS breed. was to be avoided. Read through and thought one more shot before I switch strats. Fourth time, worked.
It was another close call, but did not get the same #sof crits, and had enough health to stay in for Beeks. I imagine some other breeds like a PS or PP would have an easier time. Thanks for the strat!

Five attempts. Five wins.
I used a P/P Oasis Void-Duster in 4 of the 5, with a H/B in the fifth just to check if that made a difference. I had only a P/P Wild Etherwyrm for all battles, but it was kind of irrelevant since I didn't have to bring it in at all in three of them, and it cleaned up easily in the other two.
There is inevitable RNG in this battle. In 3 of the 5, Fethres decided to Feign on Round 3, and there is also the possibility of a stun with Soulrush causing a switch in the enemy team. So I would warn people that they might have to adapt a bit.
I wonder now whether some other breed of Oasis Void-Duster, like an S/S, might be less effective?
P.S later:
So I went and got an S/S. Again, worked perfectly. I didn't need my Wild Etherwyrm this time either. (edited)

1. Specify EXACTLY which species and breeds you used.
2. Specify whether you read the strategy from the site and executed it manually, or downloaded and used the tdScript. In this case, there is no script, but when there is, that can be important.
3. Specify EXACTLY where the first unexpected thing happened, the first thing that deviated from what the strat predicts. What died too early? What didn't die when it was supposed to? What attack missed?
4. If possible, provide a log. You can see your log in the Pet Battle tab of your chat box. You can pull that out, make it bigger, screenshot it. Better still, you can use the addon Battle Pet Log Keeper, and do /pblk and Save Battle when the battle you want to log is complete.
Almost any strat can fail to a really unlucky string of crits, and some difficult challenge strats like the Family ones may fail more than anyone likes, but the people behind this site do their best to promote well-working strats. Do your part. Provide useful information.
