Swaping 1 of the Arcane Blasts from Turn 6-7 to moonfire with a HP Nether Dragon and changed Chrominius to the set thanyou#1591 wrote did the trick for me. 131hp left at the end

This was a very painful strat for me, but what I did to make it better was swap Howl on my Chrominius with Ancient Blessing. What kept happening was I was dying on the final undead round because I would need to howl bomb the last leftovers.

Instead in the final round, you swap into the Celestial Blessing, use Arcane Explosion, Ancient Blessing, and then Surge of Power. It gives you the same effect of the howl bomb except you make better use of your improved defenses with the additional health. After the surge he does one more mana surge in the undead round and resorts to using Beam which are much more comfortable to tank.

Other than that a great strategy, very inventive workaround to this hard hitting opponent. (editado)

This worked great by swapping out the Nether feerie with discarded experiment with slime flashfreeze and arcane storm. Got a full hp chrominius with celestial blessing vs last one. Finished with 224 hp still there

if u follow the order it doesnt work with SB NFD. but! if ur RFB dies after the 2nd arcane blast, bring in yu'la and skip Turn 1. just use Celestial Blessing. yu'la dies. 2nd leftover explodes and chrominus will most likely survive the last 3. hits

THANK FRIKKIN CHRIST. You're my HERO MightyAra. the amount of times i have tried this achievement part... your skipping turn 1 saved me. every other time chro dies in the undead phase with the opposing pet at the 1 health and dying with him for the loss.

Got lucky 4th try with TDScript. P/S Yu'la, S/S Nether Faerie, H/H Chrominus. Chrominus finished with 66 HP. It worked. Thank you.

Thanks to everyone who offered variations that worked for them. I know this fight sucks with the RNG, but if it helps finish Family Exorcist, at least you never have to use it again once you win.

Mine didn't for 6 tries ..wouldn't explode..but I had substituted a sprite darter because my faerie was a PP. I put him in just to try it - followed instructions and finally beat them..even with a PP .

How many times did u try> The RNG on this trainer is off the wall. I would get to the last hit and the last guy would die but come back undead and even tho i had a decent amount of life - he would wipe me out - then either die after or have 1 health point left..frustrating.

6 times I tried with a substitute Sprite Darter because my Nether Fairie was the wrong breed. I would get to the last one - it would die then in undead smack my chromi up. Nothing as frustrating as the last enemy having ONE POINT life and u croak...So I put in the wrong breed nether fairie - and just squeaked by but finally got him. This has to be one of the most annoying and highly rng fights in the achievement.

3 tries, 2 of which were draws with chrominius and leftovers both dying at the end. the 3rd was a loss lol. i switched to ancient blessing and chrominius survived with 16 hp lol i think i have picked one of the "bad" trainers for this achieve ;)

I used a HP Nether Faerie Dragon. I got a luck crit on the moonblast and then just needed 1 arcane blast. Don't know if it would survive without it

Was able to make it work better by using jadefire lightning, cele blessing, life exchange, jadefire lightning, this gave me 200 more hp left on yu'la and also got a jadefire lightning with dragonkin buff, so 50% more damage that round, in the end I got a psionic storm with only chrominius, but only 500 damage, and since this happened as I did howl and surge of power he went into undead round, which means his last 2 mana surges didn't really do a lot of damage, around 300 each.

I think the really hard things to come up with for this were thinking about yu'la and its 50% damage reduction to pets who enter the following rounds, the fact his jade ability was aoe and the idea to swap it out and get it in a 2nd time for final pet, this is why I couldn't have done this with my own ideas.

this fight is without doubt the hardest pet battle iv ever done, it simply wont win even with best pet slots

I used Moon-Touched Netherwhelp for my third pet (1,1,1). Hit Ashes of Outland (3) when he swaps in, then Netherblast (1). Hit Phase Shift (2) to dodge the last hit. It makes this strat impossible to lose.

This worked on the third try for me, with Chrominius finishing with 110 health, but I find this guy to almost always be RNG anyways, so I expected it. Thank you for the strat!

I only had a P/B Nether Faerie Dragon, but the strat worked exactly as given. My Chrominius died with about 52 HP, so it was close but doable.

SS Nether Faerie Dragon always died before corpse explosion,
but when that happened i just swapped back to Yu'la and used Celestial Blessing right away (skip life exchange). Yu'la then died to corpse explosion and my buffed Chrominius had no issues taking down the last pet. (editado)

was able to get it to work with SS Nether Faerie Dragon with above steps by switching one of the Arcane Explosion to Moonfire:
Step 5 - did Life Exchange
Step 6 - Moonfire
Step 7 - Arcane Explosion.

Couldn't get it to work with my SS Sprite Darter with several tries. Always died before Corpse Explosion. No trouble with Yu'la, though. The one time it went as expected, Chrom didn't live. (editado)

First try my Nether Faerie Dragon was P/P and I tested it anyway, failed, second try had S/S NFD and was better but still failed, third try Chrominius survived with 28 HP left. Got it done! :)
