WoW 9.2.5+ no script: Worked perfectly with a P/P Iron Starlette. I didn't try it with any other kind. My level pet got all the XP bc Stitched Pup and Starlette both died.

For everyone wondering, no the level pet being in slot #1 does nothing for getting the pet xp.

What has the potential to get the level pet xp here is that both the other pets are dead. Essentially, you can accomplish the same thing by having the Iron Starlette in slot #1 and just having it pass on round 1. The point is to get the IS low enough that it will die the same round as Gorgemouth. However, this doesn't always happen, which is why the level pet may never get any xp, hence why I added the RNG tag.

Once again, I did it just like it says above. Started with my lvl pet, swapped to IS. Wind Up...SP...Flurry until dead round...Howl...IS supercharge, windup. Kills Gorgemouth, resurrects, had to do another ability (Powerball), Gorge dies....no xp for lvl pet.

no you first wind up, swap and wait with howl until your pet is in undead round, so howl is up for 2 more rounds

I have tried this many times - does not work. Gorgemouth always ends up with about 900 hps and I am left with my lvl pet to kill him?

My P/P Starlet died before second wind-up, but when I swapped the order around--started with the Starlet in the first slot, wind-up, then swap to level, swap to stitched pup--that gave the Starlet one less turn in the hot seat, and one less hit against it, and it thus survived to win the day!

Also, if you start with a level pet but swap it out the first turn, does it still get XP? I remember at one point it had to be in place at the end of a turn in order to get XP, but I don't know if this is still the case. (edited)

If you start with Starlette, Wind-up, then swap to level pet, that pet dies every time.
