The four spirit pets can be obtained from the Zapthrottle Soul Inhaler (Bind on Use) which can be crafted at level 50 Dragon Isles Engineering. It will require the use of an Empty Soul Cage from a Jewelcrafter. The Zapthrottle is a multi-use item, whereas the Soul Cages are single use only. You do not have to be an engineer to use the Zapthrottle Soul Inhaler.

The minimum requirements for me to craft the Zapthrottle Soul Inhaler on the beta included:

1. Getting to 25 skill points in Enchanting
2. Unlocking Optimized Efficiency
3. Putting 5 Dragon Isles Engineering Knowledge into the Optimized Efficiency ranks
4. Selecting the Scrapper Sub-Specialization & clicking Learn Sub-Specialization
5. Putting 20 Dragon Isles Engineering Knowledge into the Scrapper ranks

The materials needed on the beta right now to craft the item are:

Everburning Blasting Powder x 3
Arclight Capacitor x 1
Reinforced Machine Chassis x 1
Handful of Serevite Bolts x 6
Shock-Spring Coil x 2
Greased-Up Gears x 3


The minimum requirements for me to craft an Empty Soul Cage on the beta included:

1. Getting to 25 skill points in Jewelcrafting
2. Unlock the Enterprising Specialization
3. Putting 15 Dragon Isles Jewelcrafting Knowledge into Enterprising
