Yeah, doesn't work. Perhaps it can't be "any" breeds. Perhaps writing in where each of their pets dies, vs. yours might help identify where the issue is.

Didn't fail, but I had to go off course based on what the guide said. My ikky died early and instead of straight swapping out my lil bling i casted one more Make It Rain which ended up saving me due to Chrominius' Surge of Power leaving 20 hp left on the enemy

I started off with Black Claw, but instead of flock against Shelby, I quilled to death. Then I was able to use Black Claw again on Tinyhoof, at which point Ikky dies usually. Bling comes in, Make It Rain should deal a nice bit of damage. Then Inflation, and after Bling resuscitates, send in the Gift Package and it usually one shots Glitterwing.

Almost failed. Surge of Power didn't finish off the last pet, so I had to throw in a Bite and it was enough. Super close, though. I wouldn't call this strategy fail-proof

Not thoroughly tested. This has worked for me twice with no failures...but further testing would be necessary to see if this is 100% viable. Thought I would get it out there just in case.
