Tried the strat today again to see if it works in SL pre patch. Had to insert one step but it worked. Abyssius died along with Old Blue. But it worked.

Worked, but I don't know if something has been changed with the pen because many older comments say it can solo this fight but it was nowhere near that for me. My Pen died then my Abyssius was killed by Murry before I could get the second scorched earth out. To finish the fight I used Baa'l in slot 3 - 1,2,2 - all it took was one hit with Murder the Innocent. I thought maybe I messed something up but I repeated the fight twice more and the same thing happened both times. (edited)

Used the Mailmental from another strat instead of the pen, and then Abyssius and my random pet choice was Viscidus Globule. That poster's strat worked totally fine and flowed into this one well.

Didn't have the pen leveled, so I used Hyjal Wisp 211 and it worked great. Wish can keep you going for quite a while.
