The second Chrominius must be injured to less health than Twlight Clutch-Sister (1465 HP). Start a setup fight with Chrominius, a healing pet (Bleat around 195 healing), & a lower health pet. Void Gate injures Chrominius & swaps to healer. Bleat, Chrominius heals. Abandon setup fight. Put healthy Chrominius in the first slot, TCS in 2nd, injured in the last. I went out battling wild pets and healing until I got my Chrominius to 1464 and then knocked this out like a champ.
(Actually also need to get lucky with RNG on Flank of course but this is a good strat if you're willing to put in the fussy work.)

Not sure if mechanics have been changed, but this strategy can no longer work. A full health 1465 TCS cannot survive two basic attacks. Dies every single time.

You can also start the fight with Snozz and forfeit it after Snozz hits Chrominius with Void Gate...then swap your #1 and #3 Chromos.

I was able to get TC to survive, but Snozz was healing too much...even with the changes 3clipse suggested, Snozz would still have ~200 hp at the end of the fight. :( Tried almost a dozen times and never got it to work.

Absolutely will NOT work with a PS TCS. Chrominius needs to take 1400 on the last turn and live to win. Meaning when injured he needs over 1400hp, and the PS TCS has 1400 hp which will mess up the switches.

Took a few tries to get the Chrominius the correct amount of injured (1454), then worked first try with SB Clutch Sister! Thank you, this was the last one I needed :)

Finally got this to work. Most frustrating fight I've ever done.

TCS S/B (1465 health). 3rd slot Chrominius was at around 1370 health at start of fight. The key for me was how many times that last Flank hit. If it hits 3 times seems like Chro won't survive.

Not fun! None of the Mac'Aree boss battles are, it would seem, but it did work eventually and I am now one step closer to my fel beasts of argus achievement. :)

After trying this strat SOOO many times, the last move just never landed. Nether Faerie Dragon, Nightmare Whelpling and Chromie finally finished this battle for me after 50+ bandages from the double Chromie strat suggested. Took two attempts, nailed it.

OMG this was a ridiculous fight. I tried every single strat I could before coming back to this one. I also bought a 26k gold TCS of the correct breed because otherwise the fight will definitely fail. (I had the wrong kind, of course.)

It was not all unicorns and rainbows even with the correct pets. Try to do the pre-fight and the real fight all the way through. If you have trouble, you might be helped by my realization that in REAL FIGHT Round 3, I should have just IGNORED the instruction that says, "Since Void Gate injured him, he will be the lower current health." It is really is just a parenthetical note. Just switch to Chrom 1 and go on with the fight.

So i got this to work for me by the following changes...
Turn 4 Howl instead of passing... Snozz goes first so the void gate will take down the barrier anyway allowing the Howl to get through.
Turn 7 Surge of Power instead of passing... knocks some HP off so that Snozz doesn't heal to full health.

This strat is just worse - howl+bite does more damage in this fight than surge of power. If you do this strat, Snozz will move on to your TCS with like 1440 health whereas if you pass, your howl+bite will bring him to 1221 when your TCS switches in.

This whole strat basically relies on an onslaught of damage as soon as Snozz uses his heal (same turn actually since he has faster speed). If you don't pass here, your timing will be off. (edited)

I have a problem with round 7... Why should i pass it when Snozz will heal himself? Better use Surge of Power, cause this Chrominius will die next round anyway.

What a pain. 1st try didn't read notes, 2nd try, 1st set up chrom injured too much, 2nd set up he healed too much, 3rd set up was perfect but sister was specced wrong, final time everything was perfect.
