Found this script works for me with 25SB Nether Faerie Dragon and 25SS Zandalari Anklerender. Simply modify it to remove the blodfang lines and add ability(Leap:364) before standby.

The strat worked perfectly. But it only gave me 239 experience for my leveling pet. Hardly worth it (although it did take my Jeweled Whelpling to level 3). BTW my NFD was an HP and my ZKB was a P/S. (edited)

9.0 Pre-patch: did not work for me. Only killed the first 2 pets and left the 3rd ~75% health for my level pet

I am using the SS Dragon (Since I do not have SB - time to get one I guess), but SS works if you add one condition to the script. Dragon will die before Tikka, so rather than black claw, drop a primal cry on him.

No idea what should not work with this strategy O.o Keep to the Strategy, use suggested breeds and lvl pets, no problems at all. It works perfekt, each and every time.

Speed breeds in the first slot is key. My only NFD was a P/P, and the strat failed one turn before win. Switching to a S/S Sprite Darter Hatchling made the difference.

As long as you follow the clearly detailed breed requirements of this strat, you won't fail. I even switched up steps 2 and 3 of Tikki fight and put in moonfire after 2 successive arcane blasts and tikki died before the NFD, giving me one good hit toward Milo before bringing in leveling pet then switching to ZNB.

Tried this with a level 6 leveling pet,failed. Tikka dodges a lot. Went to a level 24 leveling pet. After three attempts went back to Chrominius strat. Worked great. Bloodfang never killed Tikka with a 305/289 Kneebiter. Was good to that point but always failed after with Tikka in dodge mode taking down the kneebiter.

This strat clearly states that it is breed dependent. Tikka only gets one dodge in if you actually follow the whole strat.

This is a great strat, thanks.
I would say, you don't need the 2nd Moonfire. It does the same amount of damage as Arc Blast by the time it is used, and just having Moonlight up from round 1 it lasts 2 turns longer than the NFD, so for the sake of a cleaner script, it is easier to just stick with Arc Blast.
Also, this works fine with P/P NFD and Kneebiter. There is a very small chance of failure but if that's all you have, give it a go.

This is my script:

change(next) [ self(#1).dead & !self(#3).played ]
ability(#3) [ self.round=1 ]
ability(Life Exchange:277) [ enemy(#2).active ]
ability(Black Claw:919) [ !enemy.aura(Black Claw:918).exists ]

Interesting way to script the level pet swap... have to write that down somewhere ;-) And yes ability slots are overlapping quite nice here doin't it your way, so that's a nice short script, Good job and thanks!

It's nice to see someone's noticed how I script pet swapping and taken to using it. I started using change(next) on Argus and figured out how I could use it to avoid ever using a leveling pet's abilities by accident.

You might like my template i use for my strategies. There is no risk you would overlap with abilities, and it's easier to read in such format. It also covers a case if your pets might be stunned during a fight. All you have to do is save it somewhere and paste before writing a strategy.

change(next) [ self.dead ]
if [ self(#1).active ]

I would highly recommend this to be th main strat. Struggled with what was considred reliable on several different occasions do to RNG. I switched to this alternative and 1 shot it. Not only that, there were no nail-biting moments, or any "prioirty" based decisions.
