It was very close but you do need to make sure Haunt hits, if it misses you need to restart. The method did work but it took me a couple of goes to win.

I must have tried this one 5-6 times, and never once managed to get Haunt to hit. The Val'kyr was always killed, and Haunt always missed in the undead round. However, I swapped to using Ascension on the undead round, and that was able to hit, and I was able to just barely kill it with my last pet in their undead round.
