This strategy simply does not work with SS Foulfeather. There's nothing "small RNG" about it. You'd have to get multiple crits to even have a shot.

Needs a pretty high roll with an SS Foulfeather (Blogg has 842 health at the end of Flock, so Infected Claw needs to hit near the upper end of its 341-634 range, or Flock needs to crit). An SS Mechanical Axebeak also doesn't survive long enough to get its Decoy off. I am not sure if this is doable with double SS.

I don't remember leaving this comment XD I did it just now, with three SS pets, but I think you need a bit of a highroll so your Foulfeather kills Blogg, and so your Axebeak lives long enough to get its Decoy off.

I used Flock instead of Infected Claw on Turn 6. This makes Axebeak almost able to 2-shot with Haywire.

This did not work as planned. My 273 speed foulfeather worked fine, but my mechanical axebeak died before the 2nd Haywire. I did not have a shadowbarb hatchling so I used my Nightwreathed watcher. I killed off Bone crusher with dark talon then used warning squawk, shadowmeld, dark talon, dark talon to kill off Chipper. It was close. I think I only had 77hp left, but it did the job.

Foulfeather does not work you need at least 3 rounds after Flock and he can make himself faster then you.

Took like 7 tries with my S/B Foulfeather maybe other breeds have less rng. The rest of the fight went great.
