Very reliable strategy. Sometimes the third pet isn't needed, so if you don't own the Postier-lémentaire you can definitely use a replacement and safely complete this.

Pets that always attack first are limited in the Magic family. The only other one is the Oeil d’observation with Frappe-éclair. Alternately, bring something with more than 309 speed and a dodge. I'd recommend one of the following two pets.
