Not working at all for me. Arm is consistently hitting me with a 607 punch and demolishes the team. I don't know if maybe something has changed in the last year but I have tried this repeatedly and this strategy is not currently viable.

Very confused what happens around Turn 11.
Is it Emerald Bite, is it Pass (Arm gors first - I guess that is meant to be goes), or is it Bring in your Yu'la, Broodling of Yu'lon ??
It seems to be Emerald Bite as you want to use the racial you set up the previous turn. But then what, Bite, pass, swap ?
I went with Bite until EPW died.
Took 3 attempts due to rng. Attempt 1 - Thunder died to eye. Attempt 2 - Yu'la died to a crit after Life Exchange.

OK, I was lucky enough to get EPW's crit of 894 on #2, but now Yu'la didn't get enough healing from life exchange and died right after that. Looks like EPW has to do around 600 dmg on that hit on #2, otherwise Yu'la fails.

Very very RNG. Important to note that if bone barrage is active when Yu'la comes in you are going to lose.

RNG 1 - does EPW lose to spine
RNG 2- is bone barrage active when Yu'la comes in
RNG3 - does arm use corpse explosion on the correct turn

All in all it took my 8 tries to get it done (editado)

doesn't work at all for me.. followed steps but EPW dies too early and its messed up from there

I managed this strat with Proto P/B, Yula P/S and Thunderscale H/S, but it was a very close call (Thunderscale survived barely with ~15 HP)

nope 6 tries spine needs extra bite to die Yu'la dies before corpe explotion, eye is always left the winner. my emeral is PS Yu'La is PS and Thunder is HS. maybe breed matters (editado)
