The strat says what to do if Coach comes in, but doesn't really address Greatest Foe coming in instead. Anyway I kind of winged it and eeked out a win with Anubisath having about 300 health left.

This is a stupid, F'd-up fight that keeps changing the rules. Sometimes Murkeston swaps out, sometimes he lightnings your ass. Sometimes Coach swaps in, sometimes it's Foe. It's totally unpredictable! Not to mention the RNG of constantly missing because of sandstorm which is doomed me on a few occasions. (edited)

Same, Greatest Foe always comes in instead of Coach. I just kept going with the strat until both Idol and Helper went down. Brought in Runt and since Murkeston was stunned from killing Helper I was able to Frost Shock, Deep Freeze, then Takedown and he was dead and Runt took zero damage.

same, i switched to Bonkers instead for second pet (idea from strat 1) and he handled it nicely.

The strat works fine, especially if Booby-trapped Presents hits Sir Murk. But as others have said - Greatest foe always swaps in first not Coach. Also as Deflection always goes first and blocks anything and everything where is the 50% risk of having to restart the fight?

1.Anubisath Idol - Deflect round 1 sandstorm round 2 then wing it till dead- should be able to get murk 59% and kill Great Foe
2. Wretched servant - Netherblast Coach and consume on Murk although will die on murk's first hit
3. Kun-Lai Runt - chill, freeze taketown...game over
