I used mongoose (222) Golden Civet Kitten (222) Sifang Otter (222)

Dive to avoid cannon survival to avoid death and get 1 more gnaw off was really easy fight.

Any mongoose, otter, or civet will go first each round so just pick your three highest powered mine were 289, 276, 273 GL HF

3 of mongoose/golden civet works with easy to get pets
gnaw, survival, dive
turn 1 dive - antaean cannon misses
turn 2 dive hits - minixis recovers
turn 3 gnaw - minixis recovers
turn 4 gnaw - minixis fel exhaust
turn 5 gnaw - minixis chaos beam (as long as he doesn't crit more than once you survive)
turn 6 survival - can't die
turn 7 gnaw - can't die
turn 8 gnaw - pet dies, repeat with next one

takes a while but it works

This isn't one of those strats that requires all S/S; I used a green P/S mongoose pup; green S/B Kuitan Mongoose; and a blue S/B Sifang Otter, and worked perfectly. Thanks to OP!

I didn't have a Gulp Froglet so I used a Garden Frog (H/B 1-1-2) and did Swarm of Flies and Water Jet until he died, rest of the strat was the same.

Another good choice is Benax. In addition to Swarm of Flies and Water Jet you can use Bubble to avoid the Antean Cannon.

Coralback Fiddler, Fen Crab, Kelp Scuttler, Juvenile Scuttleback, Frostshell Pincher, Zangar Crawler and Ironclaw Scuttler all share the same moveset and any of them in any breed can be substituted.

For those without Gulp Froglet, I subbed Benax 2-1-1 (Mud Jumper has the same moveset but Benax is more powerful).
Bring it in after the Crab dies.
Open with Mudslide and use it on cd, make sure you use Bubble on Round 9, otherwise fill with Tongue Lash. That should kill Minixis and it will Failsafe and kill Benax so you can bring in SoG'n.

Thank you for the sub strat. I can't afford to buy Gulp Froglet and Ive killed Bufo so many times with no luck. Flawless on firt try.

Frostshell Crab and Kelp Scuttler both have the same abilities as Fen Crab, so can be used instead.

I like the Fen Crab here, BUT if you have the "H/H" breed, Shell Shield is the by far better talent to pick, as your Crab will die when Minixis uses his 1-shot nuke the 2nd time -> your crab did way more damage (+ used dive a 2nd time).

You will need a */S Fen Crab or I actually used a 23 Juvenile Scuttleback successfully. You need to go first to Dive and avoid the Antaen Cannon.

My H/H crab went first. Minixis has 225 speed, so you just need more than that.

Fen Crab only comes in H/H or P/P. I used my P/P and it went first.
