Adding my accolades to everyone else's. Worked perfectly the first time. Well the first time that I got it right. My first try, I had Chrom & Nexus switched in my line up and, consequentially, set them up with the wrong abilities - Nexus (1/1/2) & Chrom (1/2/2). Realized my mistake when Chrom came in. Tried to finish but failed miserably. (Duh!) Set the strategy up correctly, and I now have my first fight down in the long, long road to achieving Family Fighter. Thanks for the great strategy, Sproingzapa.

This should be the top strat. The 2 posted were way too rng dependent and with 6-10 attempts on each I had no luck.

I had trouble at first, then I changed a couple of things.

With Yu’la, I did:

Breath
Breath
Life Exchange
Celestial Gift

As then I at least got two hits on him before he blocks everything. Then threw a heal in with Dream Whelpling and it worked perfectly - didn’t even need Chrominius!

I modded this a little bit too. With Yu'la:
Breath
Celestial Gift
Life Exchange
Celestial Gift
Celestial Gift (dies before cast, could also Pass too)

It gives that one extra round for Toxic Skin on Dream Whelpling to do extra damage.

easy fix to this strat

celestial
life exchange
swap

a few passes until you know you can safely life exchange with the nether faerie dragon should be 1 turn left on your blessing then throw in an arcane blast if you're lucky to live, back to yula celestial, life exchange if it's worth it( probably will be if you didn't get to arcane blast with nether faerie dragon), swap to chrominus howl+surge = win

the big problem was missing that turn 2 life exchange it's a free chunk of damage this strat completely misses.

Very good tactics. Turn 8 is RNG dependent, worked only for the 5th attempt for me. And as Stefania said don't worry if Nether Faerie Dragon don't die at turn 6. Howl from Chrominius will work even when Foulclaw's Crouch is on.

I had to reread, and please note the comment by Stefania about what to do if your pet doesn't die on turn 5, did it that was and won 3 times in a row. Good strat.

Yes! I only saw your comment late - I just could NOT get my Nether Fairie (H/P) to die in round 6, but having it die in round 7 is not an issue and it worked beautifully!
