This does not work as of pre patch.
I made a bit of modification. I used Trunks (*,1,2) as pet 1 and Immolate on both Abyssal and Minfernal.

This worked for me, the only difference is I used Express Delivery instead of passing. I needed that slight extra damage to win the fight.

I couldn't find a consistant strat for these until I went with Sapphire cub 2-2-2 Minfernal 2-2-2 enchanted broom. 2-2-2 Hazelnuttygames saved me.

I used a lvl 23 Felcrazed Wyrm (same spells) other 2 pets the same. The wyrm only had 162hp left when he came back up (after N.Abyssal died). Magic Team:
Any Magic with high damage 1 turn ability
Minfernal (H/H) - 2, x, 2. Pay attention that Minfernal's health should be >= Netherspace Abyssal's health. H/H breed is strongly preferred because damage from Explode depends on total health.

Any Magic:

As a high damage 1 turn ability I have used Surge of Power from Erudite Manafiend.

For anyone with a P/B Minfernal like me, do immolation first, then immolate and finally explode. I had 34 HP left when I did explode.

Also, arcane gorger works as first pet and its already level 23 from the Mac'aree area in Argus. Mine was the S/S breed

I lacked the leveled Netherspace Abyssal, so i went hunting for a strat where *that* was the problem. Here's what i found.

Trunks (2/1/2), Minfernal(2/1/2) (must be higher health than the broom), Enchanted Broom (2/1/2)

Trunks is First
- Ethereal
- Avalanche
- Smash until Trunks is Dead

Minfernal comes out
- Immolate
- Explode

Broom comes out
- Wind-up
- Windup
- Batter if needed

I tried several strategies without luck (mostly due to missing pets). This one worked. I didn't have a broom but that didn't matter. Anything with a decent attack to finish with works.

Again with the Minfernal. For those that don't have one, Enchanted Broom (2,1,2) Sandstorm , Wind-Up x2. If your wormling gets swapped in between the wind-ups, pass then wind-up.

Create new char, Select Brazil region, Tol Barad server. Pick a Trial Death knight, hit the Orgrimmar hearthstone, fly over to felwood and grab 3.

Barely made it on first try with this strategy. Used a Felcrazed Wyrm as I did not have a high enough level Shimmering Wyrmling. Followed the rotation as described, but my Minfernal's Explode left Bucky with 17 health and Immolate ticking. My Felcrazed Wyrm was the last man standing at 204 health and would not survive another attack. So I deflected and watched the last Immolate tick kill Bucky.

Don't have Shimmering Wyrmling but had success substituting Lofty Libram and following gamerunknown's strategy from Wowhead—
Minfernal: Pass
Netherspace Abyssal: Immolate, Explode
Libram: Curse of Doom, Shadow Shock
Minfernal: Immolate, Explode
Libram: Amplify Magic
FYI, I used P/B Minfernal and H/H Netherspace Abyssal. My deepest thanks to everybody who makes this site such a great resource.

Two notes:

1. A green (perhaps even white) Minfernal will suffice if you're short on stones and just got the first one you saw when you captured him.
2. The wild Felcrazed Wyrm and Arcane Gorger that spawn in the same zone as Bucky share moveset with the Shimmering Wyrmling and are (obviously) far easier to get if you didn't pick up Shimmering already. Similarly, Untethered Wyrmling from the Suramar quest and Mana Wyrmling from Dealer Rashad share the same set, though they're slightly harder to get (still far easier than Shimmering).

I didn't test whether they'll actually work since I had Shimmering already sitting in my journal, but it's worth a shot short of going and doing dailies for a few weeks.

ps Yes Felcrazed has a fire attack as the alternate in slot 1, but since you'll have feedback anyway it's identical for this purpose.

Actually I used a B/B minifernal with 1481HP, and it worked fine. There may not be 100% certainty in every battle since crits are always a possibility on both sides, but the likelihood of success with this line-up is good. :)
