High XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.
In Dragonflight Patch 10.2, the ability Time Bomb has been changed. This tag is marking strategies using Time Bomb so they can be reviewed.

Excellent. Thank you for the script. Long fight, but the Son of Sethe solo'ed it.

Still works great in 2023.

The strat is great, but i was almost done when I realised that the rematch string pulled a random flying pet instead of undead D: had to do it all again

Works Shadowlands prepatch nicely. KEY HERE IS PASS when you see Conviction has rebirth buff on him if you dps and kill him he ressurrects to full health.

JBF wrote on 2020-05-07 09:53:00

A real battle of attrition (28 rounds) but flawless first time and tons of wiggle room, no RNG. As noted above, a well-timed pass for Dark Rebirth will shave some rounds off.

This still works, which is awesome. Not too long of a fight. I did bring in a blighthawk (slicing wind/take off) to go up against Dignity as it's just faster. Take off when the whirlpool is at 1 round left and it's all good.

chui wrote on 2018-08-19 19:59:30

So... I don't have a Son of Sethe. Which is a problem, since there are no alternatives listed. And I'm sure that there are others who have had the same issue I had. But I found a team that worked really well for me.

Fragment of Desire H/S 2,2,1
Scourged Whelping H/H 1,2,1
Blighthawk 2,2,1

The main premise is to keep the Fragment against Beauty, the Whelpling against Conviction, and the Blighthawk against Dignity. Lead with Soulrush, then Arcane Blast until Beauty is dead. If Soulrush's stun procs, it will force Auriel to bring in Conviction before you have a chance to kill Beauty. Not a problem. Immediately cast Soulward to soak the Eyeblast, then swap over to the Whelpling. Cast Plagued Blood, then Shadowflame until Conviction is dead. **Use caution on Convictions HP** If he gets too low (anything under 250ish), anticipate the Dark Rebirth, and pass in advance, otherwise you will just kill him and proc it. Let the Dark Rebirth fade, then kill him with Shadowflame. Beauty will come back in, cast Plagued Blood, your Whelpling will most likely die at this point. Bring Fragment of Desire back in, Soulward, Arcane Blast until Beauty is below 630 hp, Soulrush for the kill. Dignity comes in. Swap in your Blighthawk. Slicing Winds until Whirlpool has 1 round remaining, then Liftoff to avoid damage. Use Ghostly Bite for the finisher once Dignity's hp is low enough.

Even with the rng on the stun procs, this fight was pretty easy, and worked very well on my first attempt.

Worked for me. Even managed to screw up the Dark Rebirth but swapped in the fragment for a few rounds so that Blighthawk was still on plenty of health for Dignity.

My Frag of Desire wasn't leveled up; did it with the Fragment of Anger 1.1.2 and it was super easy.

alphaest wrote on 2018-09-21 05:14:00

Used:
Restless Shadeling 2,1,*
Scourged Whelpling 1,2,1 as suggested by Wavering
Blighted Squirrel 1,2,2

Against the bird used plagued blood and then blasted til dead.
Against the magic plagued blood and shadeling died, then Shadowflamed with Whelpling til magic dead. Plagued blood on the aqua and whelpling died. With squirell crouch, stampede and then 2xScratch and fight done.

Johny24 wrote on 2017-11-23 21:04:24

Great strategy but I used Blighthawk to kill Dignity to make it quicker. He has two powerful moves against water type such as Dignity.

TheGrandmaGamer wrote on 2017-05-20 22:20:55

Yex! Sethe soloed the fight with plenty of health to spare. Don't forget to watch for Conviction's Dark Rebirth!

Shatu wrote on 2017-04-22 13:11:41

This was perfect - worked 1st attempt, no problems. <3
