Substitutes:

1
Note: You have selected a substitute pet.
The strategy might fail if you use it with this pet instead of the one the strategy creator intended.

The substitute finder looks for these criteria in relation to the original pet:
  • Same family
  • Has the required skills
  • Has the required stats (if specified)
  • Ignores specific breed requirements for the main pet, as breeds can be very different for substitutes

1 / 2

The axebeak 99 times out of 100 for me can solo the entire team, and 100/100 soloes the first enemy. The backup pet is really only being used to heal your pet and help it take out the other two (if RNG goes well, this is a party that can fairly quickly take out all three). Completely possible to fill the third slot with anything, and have the Axebeak solo the team.

Make sure your pets are in the order listed if using a leveling pet, as if a raptor roars, two hits will be blocked by the decoy, while the third will go through (and hit the last in the list, I.E. the back line 25).

(EDITED: Filled final spot with the crawdad for healing; steps changed slightly to show).

Low XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
Level 1+
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.

Presently testing a variety of this strategy using Magical Crawdad as the back line pet. Wish to test more before I make it official, but for those wondering, changes to technique are so:

After second pet (or if Axebeak is at low health), swap in Crawdad. Renewing Mists, Wish, swap Axebeak back in for heal.

So far seems very effective and still very fast, but have only tested on one week so far. Was able to allow Axebeak to 'solo' all three first teams, with leveling pet getting XP each time.

Tested team repeatedly. Found it very effective, so I officially edited the battle to include it.

Mechanical Axebeak sure kills faster than Teroclaw hatchling. However, in challenge mode, I can only use it for 1 fight without heal abilities. Mine died against second enemy's "Blood in the Water".

Definitely can confirm that since it doesn't have self-healing, it carrying through multiple fights in challenge mode is very much RNG-based. I may consider seeing if it can be coupled with a lamp or something for a Wish bump to be able to ace multiple groups with less.
