Soloed with Son of Sethe 1/2/1

but it is way faster to use other pet vs 2nd enemy, otherwise takes ages..

for example:

Fragment of Suffering, Fragment of Desire, Fragment of Anger (strong vs flying, so best idea)

or Blighthawk or some pet with Call Darkness, Nocturnal Strike, like Bone Serpent.

Tried the Son of Sethe, Fragment of Anger combo. wasn't going great. Wasn't going horrible either just sounded like it was going to be a 2 pet battle.
Fortunately I had a Tiny Apparition in 3rd slot 1,1,2 2,1,2 might have been better. But the curse of doom finished off marshmallow after Son of Sethe's rez and Drain blood.
Son of Sethe was a little low on health after all the cyclone hits. When I brought him back in.
But it did work the first try and got me one step closer to the achievement so...

If you don't have unborn Val'kry (like a lot of people), I found this comp to be pretty effective:

Ghastly kid (1,1,2)
Macabre Marionette (2,1,1)
Son of Sethe (2,2,1)

Hoof
Consume magic (clear both debuffs and heals you)
then hoof until consume magic is up and cleanse yourself of the web and damage taken modifier
then before last hit either haunt or continue to hoof. By this point Jinkx should be dead and easy pickens for macabre marionette, d&d then dead man's party then bone bite then finish the remaining pets with Son of Sethe.

You should *really* get yourself an Unborn Val'kyr :) Requires some camping (store alts to check spawns periodically) but is far from impossible :)

I used UNBORN VAL'KYR (2,2,1), SCOURGED WHELPLING (1,1,1) and third pet. Same tact as above, but when I switch to SCOURGED WHELPLING I first used Call Darkness (Rocket heals half as usual); I was able to kill the 2nd pet using whelpling and lowered Marshmallow to half its health; I brought back Val'kyr and finished the job without using my third pet.

hiya, just used this suggestion to help with my leveling.. I make sure that every pet battle I do has a leveler in it.. makes it even more of a fun challenge sometimes when they all have to be of the same race..anyhoo.. when the scourged died, I brought in my grotesque (he was next to be leveled) it was 18... for a round then brought back my val'kyr.. boom all dead, mine leveled.. and tks again for putting this site together :)

Excellent suggestion. With Fossilized Hatchling, the Cyclone did too much damage to my back pets (Val'Kyr and leveling pet); with Scourged Whelpling, Rocket got burned faster and couldn't cast another Cyclone .. 13950xp with Safari Hatand Pet Battle bonus event, was worth it.

Once again not even close. Tried 5 times and almost got it once, the other 4 I died before rocket was dead. Anyone have a viable strat that isn't totally rng dependent?

I just did a test with a B/B and a H/H Valk, and it did work with both, though you do need a beefy third pet. What were you using there? What went wrong? Did your Valk kill Rocket and survive to drop the CoD or not?

I was playing around with other setups when I accidentally finished off Marshmallow. Three Bone Serpents worked, though I did have to swap a bit. Three Bone Serpents is a pretty good recipe for most things. :) Valk + Blighted Squirrel + Bone Serpent and Valk + Blighted Squirrel + Voodoo Figurine worked easily as well. It's not a hard battle.
