For pre-patch I needed one extra attack beyond Scorched Earth to finish Blotto off.

S/S Skitterling worked fine for me, couldn't kill Blotto on its own but it did enough damage that Ominous Flame managed to finish it off. Great strat!

I guess you'll need a breed restriction for Skitterling. Didn't work for me with S/S or S/B breed since Blotto survives the Burning DoT in round 6 and then receives the Devour Heal.

ok just tested it. P/S would be the safest, the others are vulnerable to crits from both sides. instead of adding a breed restriction i just made it one round longer bringing the flame back in.
