Although there are other bots with the same moveset, the P/P and P/S bots are the only ones that can reliably kill both Thrugtusk and Wumpas in 7 rounds. There is an extremely rare edge case where Thrugtusk can get insanely lucky crits and kill your Robot da Guerra (including the Mechanical phase!) before dying. The TD Script will attempt to salvage the fight with your Carro Giocattolo di Lunacupa, and does so successfully 75% of the time—the other 25%, Wumpas will stun you with Headbutt and you're very unlikely to win. Perfect strategy, especially with Cloudia's addition of using Explode on the Starlette. For those of you who, like me, do not use scripts, a word of warning. If you use Toxic Smoke too late on Wumpas, it will carry over to Baeloth and 2 Wind Ups will kill him, missing the chance to Explode.

The way I played it:

Stormborne Whelpling
Arcane Storm
Mana Surge (running its full 3 rounds)
Pass
Wumpas comes in and kills Whelping

Iron Starlette
Toxic Smoke
Wind Up
Wind Up
Wumpas dies, Baeloth comes in
Wind Up
Wind Up (leaves Baeloth at around 200 HP)
Explode

Did not try it with the stormborne whelpling, but I've been bouncing back and forth between P/S and P/B nexus whelplings, and P/P and H/P starlettes (to get an extra fight in there before I have to use a pet bandage), and this strat has yet to fail. Very elegant, I am a fan.

Ok! So this strategy works perfectly fine, but I am a fan of the Explode ability, so I made little modification - the leveling pet does not enter the fight, instead the Explode ability is used to transfer all the xp to the little one.
PS: Change the name of the pet at the last row if you use the other whelp (not nexus)

Works great. When using Stormborne Whelpling, if you get too "lucky" it survives the headbutt by Wumpas. This will cause Arcane Storm to run out too early sometimes so Iron Starlett gets stunned. i modified the script to recast Arcane Storm in this case.

Okay, I spent a long, long day with Robert and the beasts yesterday, and I've got a bit of feedback.

One, this is a great party that let me double by lvl 25s. BUT read on:

Nexus Whelpling is a tight fit. I have an UNCOMMON 25 PB who failed more often than not, so make sure he's a rare.

Thankfully, it's VERY easy to go get more Stormborne Whelplings. Like, REALLY easy. They're a 100% drop chance from a mob on a 1 or 2 minute respawn. If you're serious about powerleveling here, I recommend going and picking them up. The Whelpling ends up dead after every fight, so unless you want to burn through a heap of bandages, go get some extra Whelplings.

So, I have 3 Stormborne, 1 Nexus, and 2 Iron Starlettes. The Starlette will survive the fight if it has more than 50-ish% going into the fight. (I think I tried once with 47% and it still worked, but I didn't push it further than that). Generally, it could hang in there for 2 or 3 fights before needing to be swapped out. Plan accordingly :) With 4 whelplings and 2 starlettes, I was able to basically never use bandages. (though I did occasionally have about 30 seconds to a minute, to stretch, change videos and wonder what I'm doing with my life.)

Which brings me to a problem.

The TDscript just explodes everywhere if your leveling pet (for example, a brand new Stormborn Whelpling) can cast Arcane Storm, or Mana Surge. I was also having some trouble early on where it kept swapping pets out at the wrong time (Hm.. thinking about it, I think maybe my under-geared nexus whelpling was getting stunned? so the script defaulted to 'swap pet'??), so I ended up writing my own variation of the script.

In case anyone else is struggling, this worked pretty smoothly for me:

Strategy just failed with a P/S Iron Starlette and a P/S Whelpling. It's worked the other times I've tried, but if you use ultrasquirt and don't pay much attention it's a good idea to add a "quit" to the end of the tdscript, otherwise you might get stuck

This strat did not work for me. Wumpus heals immediate after Iron Starlette comes in, which means that Toxic Smoke does not take him out. How I finally got it to work was to replace my leveling pet with a mechanical and Wumpus did not heal immediately and i was able to get him down and finally kill the final pet,.

Assuming you have the correct breeds, even using Nexus Whelpling as a substitute in the first slot because I already had a rare one and they are easier to get, this must be one of the most beautiful strategies I have seen. Everything about it works so perfectly with almost no way to fail because there is so much room for critical hit luck on both sides and all the damage abilities are exact numbers. I used it 48 times today, using the TD script, and won every time. Apart from the 3 times I forgot to heal between fights... Both pets are easy to get and common enough that most people will have them anyway. Super fast too, less than 90 seconds per battle with the script.

Everything about it just works so well; the timing of Arcane Storm so Arcane Winds blocks the Crystal Prison stun from Baeloth with 1 round remaining, the Whelping having plenty of health to take critical hits from Thrugtusk, the exact damage on Toxic Smoke as the initial cast deals 390 damage and Wumpas has 338 HP at that point and then the final tick of Toxic Smoke finishes with 121 damage on a 117 HP Baeloth. The Iron Starlette doesn’t even have to worry about critical hits because even with terrible luck, failsafe is still available.

It might even work with a Whelpling slower than 345 (UNTESTED) although you would be at risk of dying to Thrugtusk as his first attack would have a 50% stun chance. Just some food for thought if you have the wrong breed. Bear in mind the iron Starlette MUST have over 304 attack or you will be short on damage during the final round.

Overall just a well-crafted and fantastic strategy. Thank you!
