Low XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!

Yeah I wish I read this before starting the event since I only had one Iron Starlette and it died and it wouldn't let me try a second time. On another character I had two Iron Starlettes but only needed the first one.

With my PP Starlet, Stitches needed to revive already after turn6 and Starlett was still alive, so two carry pets would have been possible

edit: my pet was P/P breed (edited)

Esploratore wrote on 2019-07-23 06:39:03

As of 2019, 8.2 in particular, you got a pet that can remove enemy debuffs, even permanent ones like iron thread, the one which prevents you from damaging this abomination with weaker attacks than 500 damage: the ravenous prideling! So you can just use disruption and take a chitterspine skitterer, use black claw + swarm and it's gonna destroy him, that's more suited cause it's strong vs undead but once you remove the buff any black claw + swarm type attack will destroy him.

This doesn't work so well for the Dalaran battle but the battle is with Splint Jr not Stitches Jr Jr. But I made it work since my team was 3 Starlettes.
Did I miss something?

Splint Jr. is the rat, which part of the quest Fight Night: Rats!. Stitches Jr. Jr. is an tiny undead abomination.

Used Unborn Val'kyr 2,2,2, and 2 Iron starlette 1,1,1.
Curse of doom
Unholy ascension
Iron starlette comes in
Wind up,supercharge,wind up
Powerball till Stitches is dead.
No need for 2nd Iron starlette just put in for back up just in case.
Quick fight

JustaNoob wrote on 2017-08-25 19:41:10

Tried Iron Starlette strat, failed twice (I was trying different backup pets), tried MolsonoAle strat worked great. Even levelled #3 pet when Stitches rezzed, thanks.

Dougula wrote on 2017-07-21 19:21:21

P/P Starlette pretty much dropped him after the supercharged wind up part, he resurrected, hit The Starlette, it died and rezed - I hit the wind up then he died b4 I could fire it off.

Pandaren Earth Spirit
Turn 1 - Mudslide

Benax
Turn 2 - Pump
Repeat Pump until Benax or Stitches are dead then switch back to Pandaren Earth Spirit and do Mudslide again.

Any leveling pet that can survive ~600 damage in the background

Red Cricket, 1,2,1, spam 1 and use the heal when needed, easy fight.

7 round KO (fastest I've seen)

P/P Crimson Geode
H/H Elekk Plushie (must be in 2nd pet slot)
Any Pet

Round1: Crystal Overload
Round2: Stone Rush
Round3: swap to Plushie
Round4: Itchin' for a Stichin'
Round5: Crystal Overload
Round6: Stone Rush
Round7: bring in Plushie and pass :)

Evil wrote on 2017-03-15 20:21:19

Crimson Geode dies too fast for me, never survived 2nd Stone Rush, but could use TWO of them :P

Nice find tho!

I m also testing few strats, because this NPC is up today (and reward is Marked Flawless Battle-Stone) so i might share some later.

TheGrandmaGamer wrote on 2017-04-04 18:58:40

Actually, I used the fact that my Geode dies to eliminate the free hit from Stitches on my Iron Starlette. I use an HP Geode with 322 Power instead of 357 which is enough power but with 146 more health. The Stone Rush/Crystal Overload damage is what kills mine so having that extra health might make a difference in surviving to cast that 2nd Rush.

Start with Crimson Geode

Round 1: Crystal Overload
Round 2: Stone Rush
Round 3: Crystal Overload
Round 4: Stone Rush

Geode dies; bring in Iron Starlet

Wind-up
Supercharge [Stitches is under 900 health so not really needed, but with Blizzard you never know]
Wind-up for the kill - or really over kill - on Stitches
The Plushie pass here is cute and gave me a sweet smile but I had a 2nd Starlette in the 3rd slot in case Blizzard did something strange.
