As is tradition at this point, a selection of pet battling world quests in Shadowlands are required for the achievement Family Exorcist.
You will need to defeat at least 9 of the 11 tamers repeatedly, each time with pets from only one family. The reward for doing so is the cute Spriggan Trickster
Xu-Fu can scan this section for the most suitable strategies according to your preferences and show the required pets.
Pick a family below to check which pets you need.
Much like the BfA family battler achievement, you no longer have to wait for these SL world quests to be up in order to pet battle - they've been updated to battle at any time.
I'm pretty new to this, so I apologize if this is out of place, Farming Herbs and ore on my Druid I came across Jawbone /way 36.48 31.76 in Bastion that is not in the list. Ikky made short work of it, though.
Micro Defense Force for Beast Busters keeps putting a 3rd pet as a random that is NOT a beast. Took forever to finish that fight only to realize that there was an aquatic in my third slot. Not fun.
When I use the family pet link it still shows I have pets not maxed (when they are) and not rare (when they are). How do i update this so it's correct?
Sometimes it takes hours or even days for an update to my collection here to show accurately. Importing/ load a team with Rematch will pull up the correct 25 Rare for the battle even if it still shows a Lvl1 poor quality on the site.
completely logout before you you renew your pet collection so that it will load all the new pets that youd have, plus see those that you have leveled and or made rare.
Guys, i read somewhere that there's an option to have multiple teams for one target? could someone explain to me how to do that cause that would help with the achievement.
As noted Family Familar also covers this. If you use ATT (all the things!) then this too has tracking not only for the pet battle achievments but missing pets in zone etc.
Just an FYI that you don't have to beat all 11 trainers per family for the achievement. Like in BFA you can skip a couple that have heavy RNG and are punishing to certain families.
Something weird that I haven't seen before but I am sure it is part of rematch maybe?
I imported the entire team list, it said importing 102 teams when I copied the string into rematch. However, it is ONLY showing the mechanical teams in the tab. What am I missing?
I have a suspicion what might cause this bug. But I'd need to know which strategy exactly it's breaking at. Could you please send me the entire rematch string with the 102 strategies you're using? Per email please ^^ [email protected]
After more testing it's pretty clear this problem is within Rematch. If this happens to you, try deleting the 11 imported ones, then import the full 110 again. For some people it worked on the second try.
Also make sure the tickbox to override Teams is not on. Rematch can only match 1 team to 1 tamer. If you tell it to override, it will just create 11 (one for each tamer), then for the other families that come after write over the existing ones, ending with Mechanic because they are last in the list.
With the tickbox off, copies will be created but only the first (Humanoid) will be linked to the Tamer.
Rotgut and Maximillian are ridiculous on this set of family achieves. They are truly OP. This would be a massive turn off to the average pet battler which sucks because Blizz need to be encouraging people to pet battle, not making it distastefully hard.
I love this tool, thank you so much!. One thing, it sometimes counts my lowest level pet and misses the level 25. That aside. I am so grateful to you folks.
Great tool, but there is some bug where it doesn't register some of my pets, and claim I don't have them. Not just unlevelled or wrong breed, but not at all.
What would halp is you specifying EXACTLY what species you believe the table omitted that you have.
Keep in mind that in many cases, especially for Exorcist, breed must match. For example, you might have a H/P Nether Faerie Dragon, but if the strategy needs an S/S breed, your H/P cannot fill that slot.
Also remember that the scan will not cover substitutes, so even if you have an S/S Sprite Darter Hatchling that could substitute for the S/S Nether Faerie Dragon, that will not show in the table either.
In a few cases, strategies require more than one of a pet. For example, one strat requires three Sneaky Marmots. If you have only one Sneaky Marmot, the table will show that you are missing two of them, because .... well, you are!
When you see a strat showing that you have a pet missing, right-click on the battle name, and check the detail of the requirements themselves.
When you have made a list of the species you believe the table has made a mistake on, do post it here, to help get to the bottom of the query. (edited)
I had a similar sort of confusion, when I looked closer it was just that some fights required two of the same pet, and I owned just 1 of that pet. The table doesn't really identify when multiple of a pet is needed for the same fight. (e.g. The Mind Games of Addius (Dragonkin),
Airborne Defense Force (Elemental))
Just went through the list, and it seems all the cases are simply because I don't have enough. I didn't spot that last time, because it said it was needed in 1 fight, and I didn't think about the possibilities of needing the same pet more than once per battle. :D
So disregard my post above, but maybe add a feature that highlights that you need X amount of a pet, and you only have Y amount, to help prevent others from making the same mistake as me. :D
Late reply sorry. What you describe usually only happens if the same pet is required multiple times in the same strategy, yes. There's a couple things that can help, although it's a bit more manual process:
- Consider substitutes. The table here does not take them into account (for good reasons) but if a strategy asks for 3x the same snail, check the strategy, check if you can use other snails, for example :-)
- Use favourites. There might be a different alternative that you can use instead of the one shown here initially. Check the tamer and if there's one that's better suited for you, give it a heart. The table here will then always pick that strategy over any others.
Добрый день! Возник вопрос по массовому экспорту команд. Загружается 105 команд, но фактически почему то видно в только 11 команд семейства механизмов. Как посмотреть остальные команды, видимо они как-то скрываются

It should only do that if a specific breed is required that your lower level pet has. Is that perhaps the case?
