Here's everything going on for you and your pets for this week in WoW!



1. MoP Classic & Xu-Fu's Pet Guides





Xu-Fu's Pet Guides will have an alternate version of the site for MoP Classic, but may not be available upon MoP Classic release. Aranesh and other Xu-Fu staff members are working hard to make it available as soon as possible, and we can't wait for some of those classic strategies to come to the site!

Aranesh will be making a more detailed news post about the plans in the coming days, and we appreciate your patience as everyone works to get it up and running!



2. Greedy Emissary





We're bringing back the Greedy Emissary event from July 1 at 8:00 am PDT until July 29 at 8:00 am PDT, and Azeroth's bravest must band together to deliver a swift end to greedy, saw-toothed thieves. And, alongside the Greedy Emissary event, take advantage of the Collector's Bounty buff when you defeat legendary foes once again to collect their bountiful rewards!

With this event we get the opportunity to collect the malevolently marvelous Baa'lial!



3. Sign of the Skirmisher: Arena Bonus Event





This week our bonus event grants 50% increased Honor gains from Arena Skirmishes. Below are all the pets you can receive as rewards via the Honor system, and what level Honor you need for them.

Dutiful Gruntling / Dutiful Squire (Honor Level 5)
Alliance Enthusiast / Horde Fanatic (Honor Level 20)
Bucketshell / Sir Snips (Honor Level 400)



4. Burning Crusade Timewalking





Here are all the pets you can potentially collect during Burning Crusade Timewalking! Keep in mind, all of these pets are cageable, so if you don't want to farm for them you might be able to find them on your Auction House!

Timewalking Vendor; Bag of Fishing Treasures: Chuck, Muckbreath, Snarly, Toothy

Magister’s Terrace: Phoenix Hatchling

Black Temple: Leviathan Hatchling, Abyssius, Fragment of Anger, Fragment of Desire, Fragment of Suffering, Sister of Temptation



5. July Trading Post!





Making her return to the Trading Post, Blub is ready to travel with you and see all the marvels of the world for 500 Trader's Tender!



6. Midsummer Fire Festival (21 June - 5 July)





From this holiday three of the pets are through a vendor, and the fourth is through defeating the holiday boss: Ahune, the Frost Lord. All of these pets are cageable, so if you don't have time to farm for the currency, or you're worried you might not have enough currency for all the pets, fear not! You can head over to your local Auction House and grab the ones you're missing.


6.1 Vendor Pets



Each of these pets will cost you 350 Burning Blossoms.

6.2 Holiday Boss Reward



This pet drops from the bag you receive for defeating Ahune, the Frost Lord, when queuing through the dungeon finder. Ahune is located in Slave Pens in Outlands' Zangarmarsh.

7. Darkmoon Faire Begins Sunday!

Also, don't forget to pick up your WHEE! buff to get a 10% experience & reputation bonus!


8. Squirt in the NA Garrison on 6 July





Squirt the Wandering Trainer will be in the NA Garrison on 6 July. Our strategies for this leveling event can be found here.


9. Seasonal Pet: Qiraji Guardling on 21 June





Summer in the Northern Hemisphere also marks when the seasonal pet, Qiraji Guardling, becomes available. This pet can be found in Silithus, near The Scarab Wall and The Scarab Dais in the southwest.

Don't forget: you need this pet to complete the Kalimdor Safari achievement.

It will be available this year until 22 September



10. Siren Isle Invader of the Week





This week on the Siren Isle the Naga are invading, which gives you a chance to capture the Snapdragon Pup!



11. Worm Theory Achievement Quest(s)





Until the mid-week reset, Worm Theory Achievement for the Lil' Bonechewer will be up in Azj-Kahet:

Wormcraft Rumble



12. Maw Assaults





Maw Assault - Kyrian:
Sly (A Sly Fox Progress),
Sinfall Screecher (Treasure up when No One Floats Down here NOT Available),
& Copperback Etherwyrm (Assault Cache) until mid-week reset

At mid-week reset this transitions to Maw Assault - Necrolord:
Lil' Abom (Crafted Treasure)
& Fodder (Assault Cache)


13. Uldum N'Zoth Assault





13.1 Pyre of the Amalgamated One



The Uldum - N'Zoth Assault: Pyre of the Amalgamated One Bonus Objective will spawn the Amalgamation of Flesh Rare, which has a chance to drop the Wicked Lurker

The Bonus Objective itself is not a guaranteed spawn during the assault.


13.2 Vision of the Twisting Sands



While the N'Zoth Assault is up in Uldum, you can access the Vision of Twisting Sands for the Void-Scarred Beetle pet! The entrance can be found just to the east of Ramkahen, and you will need to have completed Descending Into Madness to gain access to this area.



14. Horrific Vision of Stormwind





This week's Horrific Vision is Stormwind, and these are the pets you can see from drops and chests!

15. Vol'dun Assaults





Vol'dun Assault - Many Fine Heroes: Rebuilt Mechanical Spider (Horde) & Rebuilt Gorilla Bot (Alliance)

Time: Wednesday 2 July. Begins @ 11 pm Pacific/CEST - Ends @ 6 am
Time: Monday 7 July. Begins @ 5 pm Pacific/CEST - Ends @ 12 am
